Walked in on Friday after a windstorm for a cake I needed on Saturday for a birthday.
Staff was amazing and really accommodated my request and the cake was beautiful. All really enjoyed it’s rich and delicious flavor.

I would have given it zero stars but it does not allow you to. I walked in to inquire about ordering a cake for my daughters birthday party. Which is still a week away. Right off the bat I was informed they will not be able to do it because theyre fully completely booked. Not once ever in my entire life experienced or heard of a business turning away customers. It was a simple cake design and request for about 20 people. I was trying to order an extravaganza wedding cake for 500 people. It was the most ridiculous experience I have ever had to deal with. For a simple half sheet cake… SMDH…DISAPPOINTMENT…

What a lovely experience I had this morning while I stumbled upon this place. There’s a small display of assorted cupcakes and cookies. I had the pleasure of chatting it up with Marsell’s (owner’s) husband and he told me how the shop came to be as well as how Marsell turned her hobby into a career.
I chose the lavender cupcake (one of the top sellers) at $ 2.50 each, which was really delicious, I particularly liked the after taste, wasn’t too strong. The lavender flavor took over 1.5 years in the making! The texture was just right, the cream inside the cupcake was a nice surprise and not too sweet. I hope to try the strawberry lemonade next time!
The décor inside the shop was also very «homey.» I hope this mom & pop shop continues to succeed!

I ordered individually wrapped cookies from here for my sister’s baby shower and they turned out fantastic! I sent Marcel a picture of the cartoon baby polar bear I had on the invites, and she hand drew each one! Then they were wrapped and tied with ribbons that matched the color of the bear. Those cookies and the hot choc mix mini mason jars we passed out made great shower favors. Everyone loved them! Oh also, I really appreciated the discount Marcel gave for ordering so many. It was SUCH a great deal.

If I lived in Spokane I would be a regular for sure! I found this wonderful place on google when I needed some help celebrating my very special niece’s Senior Night. It was a last minute call, they worked with me, were willing to deliver (charged for this but hey — gas is not free I understand!) & were great to work with. Delivery today was successful & very much appreciated. The cookies were beautiful & very special! When I visit Spokane I will go thank them in person — great place & FABULOUS staff!! Marsell told me she lovesd what she does — it shows!

I Really wanted to like this place and gave it one chance after another. Some of the desserts have been sitting there, and taste old and stale. Nothing has wow’d me yet and I’ve given this place 3 chances before I wrote it off. The lady there is very friendly.

Marsells Cakes are absolutely Amazing. Not only are they just beautiful but they taste awesome as well. She is so nice and really understands how special your wedding day is. The cake was a hit with everybody and what I love the most is she is so creative. Your cake is truly one of a kind. And everything she used on our cake is edible! The flowers the seashells! My favorite is the sour cream cake and her red velvet is to die for!!! Best part we received a complimentary FRESH top tier for our one year anniversary. Now that is awesome!
