A friend from work told me Le’s was a very good Vietnamese restaurant. He was Vietnamese so I trusted that this place was authentic. It was good. My wife enjoyed her chicken phở. The broth was wonderful, everything fresh. The chicken she said was a tab bit dry but we appreciated that it was chicken breast. I had the rice place combo. My meat(korean beef and pork chop) were a tad bit dry… not Jesus’ Sandle dry but dry enough that if I soaked it soy sauce I would have needed 2 bottles to resurrect the pig. All and all it was okay. Not as good as Vina but good nonetheless… I just know next time not to get anything other than the phở.

Constantly looking for new Phở places, this was next on my list. Price was average 8 $ for the small bowl with rare steak. Broth was delicious but the noodles were clumped together and a pesky fly wanted to join my lunch.

I’m a big vermicelli eater! This by far is the best place to get a vermicelli bowl. They have really good service and I’m never disappointed!!!

STAPLEINOURFOOD!!! We’ve been to Le’s a few times before, and it’s been ok. My husband chose to go there for his birthday dinner. We went family style and ordered a few dishes to share. Service was not great. We noticed the waitress filling her own water then sitting at a table to watch tv while we all had empty glasses. The real kicker was when my 11 year old picked up a piece of sweet and sour chicken and pulled out an industrial staple! We obviously said something to the waitress, and she sent over an older man that grunted at us and took the staple and walked away. They took the sweet and sour chicken off our tab. Gee thanks. Will never go back. Ever.

Le’s Teriyaki is a pleasant if somewhat uninviting Vietnamese restaurant on the Hamilton strip of restaurants by Gonzaga. Their in-house Teriyaki sauce is the real draw of this place and rightfully so, it’s sweet and tangy and just what you want in a locally made teriyaki. However, the price doesn’t quite justify what you’re getting and the wait staff was less than friendly, especially when a friend of mine changed his order a few minutes after placing it(although that’s admittedly irksome, it wasn’t worth the collective groan from the staff, epically since he changed from Phở to the Teriyaki chicken(what I got). I live SUPER close to Le’s so I’ll probably be back at some point, but it’s not a place I’m rushing to return to.

Maybe I would come back to try something else, but the teriyaki chicken was terrible. No flavor/taste. Felt like I was just eating pieces of fat. Ok service, nothing great.

Love the big bowls of phở soup with meatballs, flank steak and/or round steak. It has a very exotic flavor that is out of this world. I think it is Asian ginger that its served with that gives it a taste that was completely alien(but good) to my palate before we tried this place. My wife usually gets some kind of spicy beef dish and she is crazy about this place. The place is clean, the ambience is casual, and the servers are humble and polite.

Since Ha Ha’s closed, we had to go scouting for another good teriyaki place. Came upon Le’s Vietnamese teriyaki and stopped to try them. Wasn’t thrilled with having to walk up 10 stairs to actually get into the restaurant. They do not have any handicap ramps unfortunately. The interior is acceptably neat and clean though the table tops did not look the greatest(from a cursory glance). The waitress was rather sour faced and deadpan. Was hard to get a smile from her. The chicken teriyaki was delicious. Came with steamed white rice and fresh vegetables. Paid $ 9.00 for the meal and you get quite a large portion for that. Food was delightful. Service was quick but not the most inviting to a customer. Enjoyed the food but not the service. Will return from time to time.

I eat phở’. Lots of it. And I eat it at a lot of places in a lot of states. If you’re hung over or just craving it, this place won’t let you down. I think it was just as good as any place I’ve been. I do think the fresh spring rolls could have been made with fresher ingredients, but they also dont charge $ 8 for it like everyone else. They are only $ 4.00 here. The small size phở’ bowl was plenty for me(I’m 210lb). It was quiet and clean when I showed up for lunch. The waitress was very sweet and friendly.

I got a small bowl of the phở special. I think it was okay. I wish the broth was more flavorful and the meat was a little too chewy from what I am used to. I feel like I put more sauce in than I usually do because the broth didn’t have as much flavor as I would have liked. Phở isn’t meant to be eaten with wooden chopsticks either, so I was a little bummed out. I haven’t tried other phở restaurants so I don’t have anything else to compare to.

Salad rolls with(flavorless) pork were not good. I’ve never seen any Vietnamese fill their salad rolls(goi cuon) with nothing but iceberg lettuce. They should contain herbs, better lettuce, carrot, sprouts… ANYTHINGINTERESTING! Spicy griiled chicken teriyaki. Evidently, «spicy» means squirting sriracha sauce on it before serving. Worst teriyaki sauce ever.(How do you screw that up?) Condiment jars were filthy as was the window sill at our table. The waitress was not very friendly. I guess the workers there don’t like the place either. Maybe they have some better dishes, but I won’t be back to try them. Gross.

Sorry to buck the trend but the food here was very average Vietnamese. Fresh rolls were overstuffed with lettuce, sauce a little to sweet for our liking. Phở was average, lacking the true unami taste that I expect. Banh Mi dressing was on the plainer side, noodles were al dente but I expected more vegetables in it. Overall the food was average, service good, place seemed cleaner than most. If in the GU area this may be your place to go(Phở Van was better but they had a fire), if you have a car though I would take the drive to Phở Van A on division for better food.

I’m a fan of good Phở, and Le’s Teriyaki serves the best vietnamese soup in Spokane. The offer a god variety to choose from, and the sides are always very fresh. We often visit Le’s, have eaten there about 20 – 30 times over the past 2 – 3 years, and its ALWAYS been great. Though my son and husband have adventured around the menu and love the fried rice, lemon grass chicken, and other dishes — I love the Phở. go! My teenage daughter enjoys trying their soy drinks and vegetarian dishes — all very fresh and flavorful. Don’t expect a fancy environment that results in inflated prices — this is a simple, family run restaurant that is a frequent haunt of many students near the university. A busy little place, good menu offerings and great service.
