Special. Special. $ 7.99 Growler fills. All taps! I would suspect I agree that JB foods doesn’t know exactly where it wants to be but 7. 99 growlers is quite the deal and they have a great selection of taps. I check the prices of the 22 ounce beers and they were Seattle like prices. I’ll be coming back just to see what direction they decide to go. Lol

3.5 stars. Came here because I’d prefer to not buy my craft beer from that humdrum corporate giant Total Wine. JB’s wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, but it is so close. Don’t get me wrong, their bomber selection is off the charts. This is one of the best selection of 22+ ounce bottles I’ve ever seen, even after living in New York. However, most of their prices are in the New York range as well. I understand they have rare and high end bottles – stuff I haven’t seen anywhere else in Spokane – and I don’t mind paying top dollar sometimes, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a bottle here for under $ 12. Secondly, the selection of 12 oz bottles for a mixed six pack is tragically small. One cooler of cans and one of bottles. Not enough to have a good variety. Also, service was lacking. With all of those bottles, you’d think there’d be somebody in there trying to sell them.(I was there on a Saturday morning). It seems like JB’s can’t decide what it wants to be. Is it going to be a sketchy bodega or is it going to be a sweet beer spot? The growler fills were priced well, and they had a decent selection. And like I said, they have ALL of the hard to find large format bottles. Come here if you want top quality bombers. But add a good mixed six pack section, and get some enthusiastic staff in the isles, and this could be the best beer store in Spokane by far, with gummy bears and beef jerky to boot.

Ive been coming here for a couple years since moving to the northside and I have to say it’s changed a lot for the better. They have a large beer and liquor selection and even fill growlers. The prices vary quite a bit but they do have some great specials on bottles and growler fills. If you live on the northwest side of town this is a must visit!

For as long as I lived in Spokane, this was always a shady crappy little neighborhood«grocery» store that you should avoid if you know what’s best for you. No longer. They have a few grocery/convenience items, and not a good selection. But JB’s has turned itself into one of the best, if not the best, places to find craft beer in Northwest Spokane. They have an amazing selection of beer, and I never walk out of there without finding exactly what I’m looking for. If you are a beer lover, this is definitely a place to check out. The wine selection is not all that good. You’ll actually have better luck going to a grocery store for wine. But the beer selection is amazing.
