Holly Lane Tree Farm

Beautiful farm, family owned and operated, lovely trees, and a great variety of trees to select from (great photo opps too for family pics ;) We have made Holly Lane Tree Farm part of our annual family tradition for finding that perfect Christmas tree. Although the prices are fantastic, the scenery and the family are what keep us coming back: friendly service, adorable dogs, warm cocoa, cute gift shop, tractor rides, and mountain sunsets.

We had been looking for a cut your own tree farm for a few years and finally found the perfect place! Holly Lane Tree Farm is awesome! The farm is an easy, scenic drive, just about 30 minutes outside of Spokane. The last two miles are a tad «out of the way» but the roads are wide and clear, even in snow, due to county plows. No trouble getting up here. The farm is located at a beautiful family farm and is breathtakingly beautiful. The owners are a group of helpful and friendly folks that were a pleasure to do business with. Upon arrival they explain the process and then let you wander the sweet smelling trees. You are given a measuring stick, a saw and a plastic tarp for your tree. You then are free to wander all over their 25 acres of trees. They have many varieties and every one seems to be better than the next. It is really tough to pick the tree of your dreams! Once you decide, «chopping down» the tree is MUCH EASIER than you might think. It took my teenage daughter maybe ten minutes to cut our 9 foot very wide tree down and guide it on to the plastic tarp. Once the tree is down, you simply use the rope handles on the tarp to pull the tree to the nearest road. (in our case maybe 20 feet) That is all the work you have to do. You wander back to the front and let the staff know you have cut down a tree. They will go fetch your tree, put it in a shaker to remove the dead needles, have it baled up and tie it to your vehicle for easy transport. *For anyone who is thinking they just can’t cut down their own tree, that is ok, the staff will be happy to do it for you, no charge. While you wait there is free hot chocolate or coffee and candy canes. We gathered around a big outdoor fire pit to chat with the owners and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. The prices beat any corner lot in my Valley neighborhood and my tree is drop dead amazing. We have found our new Holiday tradition, we will be back every year!
