Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Five guys is as close to In and Out as you can get, so if your a fan of them you’ll probably like them. I’m not a burger and fries person so I wasn’t crazy for either. I did like the free peanuts, maybe because they weren’t cooked. My husband liked it.

Great place to eat. Me and my gf eat here all the time. If you want a great burger and a bag of fries, come here!

Spokane, WA: Fresh beef patties
Two burger bowls hit the spot tonight after a quick trip over to the Puget Sound area and back in one day. Instead of wrestling with slippery burger patties wrapped in lettuce leaves, this Five Guys offered a tidier version served in a bowl. Ask for extra lettuce too. It’s not on the menu but just ask for this great gluten free meal alternative. A kind staff person shared this with me a while back, and I apologize for not remembering your name but thank you!
Staff was friendly and helpful. The music was a reasonable volume, tables and floors clean, and the restroom was very tidy.

Had date night after Star Wars. Burgers are huge and tasty. By far the best in town. A medium fry is enough for four people and free peanuts are always fun while waiting for our burgers. Everything was very fresh. Will go back again and again.

Five guys is great! They are fast and you literally can’t find a better cheeseburger. I actually like 5 guys better than In & out burger. I read a few reviews saying you can get a burger like this at a drive thru, no way!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience at 5 guys. Food comes quick and fresh and delicious and they are always happy.. And of course we left full they give you SO many fries. Never stingy on fries!!!

Great burgers! Lots of fries, our first visit. Ask plenty of questions as the person behind counter even after I had told her it was my first visit ever gave me no suggestions or help in ordering. The have a great soft drink dispensing machine. Would try again.

Not only is the food here the best I have had at a Five Guys and better than any fast food hamburger, but the staff went out of their way to help customers with their requests. Wish I lived closer!!!

I came here after hearing such great things about their burgers and fries (Especially the fries). My wife and I ate the normal size bacon cheeseburgers (2 patties) and I can say overall I am not impressed. The meat was decent quality, and so was the veggies, but I could find a better burger cheaper from the ‘premium’ selections at any fast food joint. There was so much grease on my burger that it started cooling into little grease-​sicles off the burger and cheese. The fries that were so raved about were nothing special. Overall not bad, but not worth the price.

Absolutely great burgers. The ‘little’ burger is a single patty that is of a generous portion. The regular size is a double patty version. There are plenty of toppings to choose from and your choices are skillfully stacked on your burger. On my most recent visit they forgot to add the toppings. One bite in I discovered the error and brought it to their attention. They apologized profusely and made up a new burger right away, again sincerely apologizing upon delivery. This is the way you fix errors when you are a business owner. Well done.
If you are considering fries be aware that a small order is huge. These will easily supply enough for two. There is also a Cajun version which I have yet to try.
Although you pay a premium for burgers here I think they are some of the best I’ve had. Well worth every penny!

Best «fast food» style burger I’ve ever had! Fresh, hot and totally satisfying. I love how your able to customize all the toppings. I go «all-​the-​way» and add grilled jalapenos. Mmmmm.

Well I’ll start out with saying, the Cajun fries where very good, as expected. With that said I’m still very disappointed with this Five Guys restaurant… I wanted to show my fiancé this amazing burger joint, but to say the least it was nothing like the Five Guys in Redding, CA. Not only did the squashed bun look unappetizing, but I couldn’t imagine that they would have lowered their beef quality to such an extent. If I wanted a burger like the one I got there I could have gone to Carl’s Jr… Oh and if your getting it to go, check your orders they charged me for bacon yet there was no bacon on my burger! Well the pup will be happy tonight, but thank you for the fries.

I have been here ½ dozen times and every visit the staff is friendly, engaged, and efficient. The menu is simple but the burgers are the best in town and a way better deal than the typical fast food misery. Even better than Fatburger.

Great fast food. My only complaint is the classic rock is quite loud for a place that is family friendly. The management is great. They screwed our order up. They remade it perfectly. On our next visit the manager greeted us warmly, and thanked us for giving the place another chance. WARNING. Complementary peanuts. People with peanut allergies stay away.

Five guys food is always excellent, but the service here — awesome! The nicest people I’ve ever dealt with. Every business should take a lesson in customer service from these folks. The place is very neat and clean as are most 5G.

Always delicious and a HUGE burger. cajun fries are good as well, not to mention the newer touchscreen pop machines!

I was introduced to five guys on the east coast and was pretty impressed and I am glad they have made it to Spokane — gives us just a bit more cred, since we got 5 Guys and Chipotles. Anyhow you seem to get people who try to compare FG with In-​N-​Out and being a California native I must side with the 5G lovers on this one. There really is no comparison though, INO focuses on cheapness, err excuse me great value and simplicity, while 5G focuses on much larger (beefier) burgers and a plethora of toppings.
Pro-​Tips
* A little hamburger is pretty big, and add all the toppings you want.
* The worst part of 5G is the bun, it will start to fall apart so get plenty of napkins and try to eat in the foil. (They really need to work on this.)
* A small French fry can feed three people
* If you go alone skip the fries, if you are very hungry get the double burger.
* Immediately take your French fries out of the bag otherwise they will steam and get limp
*Order fries Cajun style — yummy
Bottom line: One of the better national burger joints and well worth a trip to try them out.

I’m used to Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Alexandria, VA (outside DC)… VERY happy to see that Spokane now has a real burger joint. If your in the mood for a REAL burger, this is the place to head to. Fresh ingredients and good food. I’m normally very critical of restaurants, but in 7 years, I’ve never had a bad meal at Five Guys. You can bet on the food you get.
Bring a friend, share the fries… they don’t skimp on the portions. Be ready to stand in line, people are always lining up for Five Guys burgers.
