I needed some new tires for my truck and as well as an alignment from the superior roads that this city supplies us with. This place happened to be near where I was at so I figured I’d give it a try. The staff was very helpful, while the prices and selection were pretty good so I dropped my truck off while I ran some errands and came back in a couple hours when everything was ready. My truck no longer drives like an old model-T on a washboard road and I really liked the service here.

I wouldn’t go there ever again. We had my wife’s car towed there, because it was relatively close and we didn’t know any better. The car was overheating — or so said the dummy light and the gauge. The so-called mechanic looked at the car and called us back and said that we needed a water pump, not knowing any better I told them to do it. $ 700 dollars later and we have a new water pump installed, we drive off and guess what the light comes on and the gauge soars into the red. Back to the shop we go and this time they tell us that we need a new radiator, $ 800 dollars later we have a new radiator so we drive off only to have the car’s dummy light come on and the gauge soar into the red again. They apologized and then said this time they said we needed to replace the cylinder head gasket, at a cost of over $ 2000. I said no way. We had the car towed to the dealership because I was getting frustrated — the dealership stated that Alton’s put in the wrong type of anti-freeze and that«could» damage the engine, they flushed the new radiator and then found out the real problem with the car. The sensor had broken, all it needed was new sensor — total repair bill $ 70.00 Just like their commercials say: Neighbors screwing neighbors!
