Always reliable in servicing Specialized Roubaix. When I came in today, Jim addressed my shifting problem in 10 minutes then gave are a recommendation on chain lubricant after I picked a lesser quality product. My first choice for bike shops in Spokane.

after visiting many bike shops in Spokane and the valley I decided to purchase from Wheel Sport on the South Hill. Today’s bikes are decidedly different than 20 years ago, the last time I made a purchase, Gary and Jim treated me with respect, even though I felt like a real dummy, and patiently went over the different models. Wow! how they have changed! We picked out a bike and off I went for a test ride. It was so much fun I nearly wanted to ride off into the sunset if you get my drift. I purchased the Specialized bike, a new helmet, and the rest of the gear Gary suggested that would make riding more fun and safer! What a great experience-​save yourself a lot of time head to Wheel Sport for your next bike. You will love the staff and their caring attitude

The service is phenominal…
I had never been in here until recently when a regular from Forza Coffee down the street got his only mode of transportation stolen while grocery shopping at Safeway. (This man has been on disability and dialysis for 7 yrs. The bike is his only form of joy as well)
Upon hearing this I started a «go fund me» campaign to raise the needed money for a replacement. The barristas donated their tips for a day and word spread. Within a week we had the money and decided to go to Wheel Sport. I shared the story and asked for a discount which they gave thus allowing for an upgrade.
I relocated from Seattle 1 ½ yrs ago… its businesses like «Wheel Sport» that make it easy for me to say I LOVE this city.

I have Consistently had good service at Wheelsport in the past, and this recent visit was no different. I have had trouble finding a saddle that is comfortable on longer rides for my road bike, and the personalized custom fitting for saddles really helped select the right product. The staff took the time needed and explained the services offered by the store. I selected the saddle in the valley and then purchased it at the South Hill location and had similarly excellent service. The Oura Specialized saddle was priced the same as online.

I recently purchased a Santa Cruz MTB from these guys. It was a great experience.
Price:
They charged me only exactly the price for the bike. They didn’t tack on shipping, or a «build fee»… just here’s the bike, at the price it’s supposed to be!
Selection:
They had a great selection of the add-​ons I wanted (e.g. bars, and pedals from Deity, and bash guard + chain guide from e*Thirteen)…
actually they didn’t have the e*Thirteen part in stock, but they matched the price I found online — and ordered the part in for me.
Staff:
Josh was the guy I dealt with mostly. He was super friendly, knew his stuff, and was happy to explain stuff. Since I hadn’t been riding for like 10 years, it was really nice to not feel like a moron asking questions about stuff that’d changed (disk brakes, thru axles… etc)
Conclusion:
all in all it was a great experience, with down-​to-​earth people.
I will be shopping here again for sure!
UPDATE: Just got another bike from them for my wife! Worked with someone else, and had an equally satisfying experience. :)
