Small little place in a strip mall storefront. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see a very clean and light seating area. It has an Americana country décor that is quite charming. Quite busy for a weekday. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. The waitress was very prompt and cheerful. The portion sizes are plentiful and everything smells delicious. The food is amazing. I got a cheddar beef potato soup that had big chunks of roast. Triple decker stuffed full of meat. My husband got an omelet that covered half his plate. We will be back for more!

This place is just a tiny, hard-to-find, hole in the wall. That being said, the décor is cute, but the chairs made me feel ginormous and cramped. The carpet is kinda dirty and gross. The service? Meh. They were nice enough, I guess, although not very attentive. My husband and I watched the people working be warm and friendly to everyone they knew – chatting them up and making them feel welcome, but only talked to us when we first came in, when we ordered, and when we were done. The woman that took our order gave me a weird look when we told her that we didn’t want hashbrowns or toast. We’re on the Ketogenic diet, and don’t eat carbs. Frank’s Diner doesn’t treat us like that – nor does any other restaurant we frequent. The food was very delicious, though. Very flavorful and filling. We might be back. I’m not sure, though.

We just visited the Breakfast House for the first time… good food, great prices, nice owner! I did’t see corned beef hash on the menu… but I asked and he immediately told me its available and he cooked it up at a special price! It’s a little place… difficult to see signage and it’s not an «upscale» atmosphere. but perfect for a nice breakfast. I was surprised at how busy it was on a weekday! Neither of our breakfasts came with toast… so if you want toast, make sure to order in addition to the main entrée. They also offer lunch items.

Great little restaurant! I’m always looking for new places and was lucky enough to find this little gem. Small, super neat and clean, a lovely minimalist décor. All of which I find as positives in my hunt for restaurants. Menu was the usual breakfast fare. I had the eggs benedict and it was good. Owner/cook knows exactly how to cook a poached egg! I commented that the hash browns were too salty for me and they immediately made me a different serving even though I said it wasn’t necessary. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I usually try to stop at new places but I would go back to this one.

Found this little place on an early morning breakfast hunt. It is absolutely fantastic! The food is stellar and portion sizes always allows for leftovers. I recommend it to all my friends.

Went there on a Groupon, the place was really nice and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was just great and the portions are gigantic, and I already expected them to be big based on other reviews here. I’ve still got leftovers 2 days later, and my daughter and I already used them for second mini meal the day after we went to the restaurant. I will definitely be back soon to try the pancakes!

Drug the ball and chain in this morn. She loved it! I had not tried the pancakes and she hadn’t had a pancake in a long time. They were truly the best pancakes ever. VERY light and fluffy and as big as a dinner plate. I dare you to try to eat 3. As every time prior, the coffee was good, the egg dishes were good and we could not come close to eating everything we ordered. The toasted biscuit and piece of ham came home. As good a breakfast as you could get anywhere.

We both went in today, it was kinda hard to find but sure glad we did, I’m a great cook my self, The waitress were real nice, when it came to the food, it was fantastic, we both had chicken fried steak, that is made from scratch, so so good, hash browns that are cooked just right, Fresh cooked, buscuts, and there gravy, for the chicken fried steak, was again so so good, loaded with sausage, the way they should. This is one place you should eat at. You will tell your friends. This place is a defiantly to visit. You won’t go wrong. I would give it 5stars but the décor need some a little, but don’t turn this place down. We’re coming back.

First time in and highly impressed. Large portions, reasonably priced and nice staff. Went on a Sunday morning and got right in without a wait. The pumpkin pancake and hash special was $ 6.99 and the 2 plate sized cakes were so big I couldn’t finish it. Someone next to me ordered the French toast, which looked amazing, and what I will be ordering when I return. Oh, best hash browns I’ve had in a while by the way.

My sister and I visited this wonderful place after working out at the gym. We were both sweaty and very hungry! Our breakfasts did not disappoint, so delicious and enough food to bring home for another breakfast the next day. I cannot wait to come back and try the pancakes, they looked and smelled wonderful. So happy to have found this little gem.

We were looking for a great breakfast/brunch late in the morning. We found The Breakfast House on a list and found it in a strip mall. The service was excellent, the portions were large and very flavorful. This is a great American style breakfast for a hearty appetite and reasonable prices. While eating, the owner stopped by the table to greet us and check on the meal. We were also looking for a place where we did not have to compete with the ambient noise level. This was perfect. We will eat there again.

My Aunty introduced me to this place several weeks ago and I immediately fell in love with it! The portions are HUGE, the prices are hands down the best in the Valley, and of course the food is DELICIOUS! It doesn’t get better than mom’s home cooking; biscuits and sausage gravy is my fave & no one will EVER be able to do it better than mom but these guys came close. They also do omelets VERY well(my favorite is their Ham & Cheese– yuuuummmmy!), and the pancakes are a big hit with my kids. Since that first visit I have introduced my husband and uncle to this place– they both loved it! My uncle is from Seattle(where he’s owned several restaurants for the past 35 years) and is extremely critical of EVERYTHING when dining out(i.e. he’s that nit-picky customer that servers prefer sit in someone else’s section), but even he was impressed with the food(quality, portions, taste, etc…), service, low prices, and the establishment overall. The only suggestions I have for the owner is to invest in better bacon and refrigerate your ketchup at night! The bacon wasn’t terrible, but compared to everything else it wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. And the ketchup was tangy… other than that everything was AMAZING, keep up the good work Breakfast House and I will definitely be seeing you again, and recommending you to everyone I meet!

I wanted to support this local business, so I checked out the reviews here. They’re right – very good food with incredibly friendly staff. I asked to substitute fresh fruit for the toast and hashbrowns. They gave me a soup bowl filled with banana, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and grapes! The veggie omelet was delicious as was my husband’s chicken-fried streak. They’ve decorated nicely and I’m sure they will continue to upgrade the furnishings as the business builds. Give them shot; you won’t be sorry.

TL;DR good food, overworked servers and cooks gives really slow service. Been here twice both being weekend mornings for breakfast. The food was really delicious and fresh and not overly greasy or filled with gristle. The only downside I feel is the proportions seem a bit small for the money I spent. The aesthetics of the place was also nice and very home-ish with the non matching coffee mugs and décor. Now the reason why I’m scoring it so low is because of the last two times that I was there the service could of been a little better. The first time I went me and my friend decided to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air for our breakfast and the service was not bad other than we did not get silverware until after our food was served and our coffee was only refreshed once. The second time I took my mom there and this time the service seemed to be stretched beyond its limit. The wait staff was good on getting coffee to us but there was about 30 people eating and only two cooks in the kitchen from what I could see. The wait staff was quick to get our order but the food took at least 25 minutes and again no silverware until after the food was served. The other thing I noticed was that even though the wait staff was good at keeping us taken care of, they were also rushed at getting tables ready and sometimes things would not get cleaned all the way. I feel as though there should of been at least another chef and waiter should of been there in order to make sure everyone was getting proper service. If these changes are made I will gladly give it a higher score I really like small local places and not chains so I really hope they make it.

[Full disclosure — On work travel — HATE hotel breakfast slop, tired of chains, predisposed to like local, flavorful, non-foodie places — tastes run to simple but flavorful — end disclosure ] Nice little breakfast spot, by previous reviews they’ve made steady progress. In search of a good decent breakfast not from a chain… go here. Good, tasty, well prepared(to order), decent American breakfast fare(eggs, solid omelettes, hash browns or home fries, the meats(great wrapped sausage) and a friendly, attentive, hard charging staff. We’re here on work travel for a month — will be here several more times. All the best.

We’ll be back. The owners are clearly interested in making their restaurant succeed. We arrived around 9am on a Sunday morning. By the time we left, the tables were just about full. Service was wonderful and the food was sooooo good! I ordered the special for the day… the meat lovers omelet. I was hesitant only because I thought it might be really heavy and greasy. It wasn’t. Perfectly seasoned and no greasy pool at the bottom of the plate. My hubby was disappointed with the biscuits and gravy and barely touched them. He said my homemade biscuits and gravy were much better: D He did eat his eggs and hashbrowns which were great. The kids’ pancakes were a hit! The TV was on which is always a turn-off for me. It was on some reality show which was full of «bleeping». Not impressed, but the channel was changed ½ way through our meal. All in all, we’ll be back!

Bought a Groupon and went to the breakfast house for the first time with my boyfriend and his mom. The service was very very poor. Our waiter was a younger kid who didn’t know what he was doing and he was very awkward and not very friendly. They ran out of almost everything that we tried to order. The sandwiches are only bread with meat you get from packaged at the store and same with the cheese not even deli sliced. They gave us the wrong beverage and the food was only okay. The French dip was decent but had way to much garlic for my liking and I love garlic. The good thing about our visit was that they discounted our bill for all of the inconveniences. But we will not be going to back.

For me, 3 stars is a «Meh» — nothing big to complain about, but certainly nothing stand out, either. For a restaurant with«Breakfast» in its name, I was surprised by how limited the breakfast options were. Most regular diners will give you many more options that are much more creative.(Side note: the Build Your Own pancake options are somewhat unique, but I’m not much of a sweet breakfast person, so a quick glance ruled that out for me. Not a criticism, just personal preference). Our service was great — prompt, friendly. Absolutely no complains there. What we ordered — the veggie omelets — were fine. Again, just not memorable. One thing that I will echo from another much more negative review — they really need to get the fly situation under control. The air conditioning was working just fine, but the whole dining experience drops significantly when you are having to shoo flies from your food throughout your meal. Another thought, but they might consider spacing their tables a bit more. I’m not a particularly big guy, nor was the man seated directly behind me, but our chairs were touching back to back and my stomach was against the table. Throughout the meal I would feel his back press against mine when he would lean back a bit. The tables are attached to the wall, so there was no fix to this. I don’t have huge personal bubble issues, but this was a bit much and was a definite motivation to get through my meal and out of there. We don’t live in this part of town, so it was an exception that we happened to be near there and try it out. However, if this were a more convenient option, we would probably choose somewhere else. Side Side Note: Is it cool for an employee(or perhaps she’s even an owner) to write their own 5 Star review AND a positive Check-in? I don’t think so. Just saying…
