The service was friendly enough but the portions were very small, the smallest portions I’d ever been served in a Thai restaurant. The taste was just average to a little below average The wrong noodles where used in the pad thai, slow service in that once food was dropped off he never refilled our water or came back to the table. I was charged for rice even though I didn’t order it and the old restaurant trick of not showing up at your table after dropping off the check until you get up to leave so he doesn’t have to make change as I was paying cash. So they got a bigger tip. Will not be returning to this restaurant as it was below average in just about everything

Used to come here all the time as a kid. The owners were always so kind. Pretty decent Thai food. It does take awhile to make, so make sure you don’t have somewhere to be.

Small building, attentive owner, very friendly. Food was excellent. We were early for lunch so the wait was not long like some have indicated.

Best Thai food in Spokane — period. Tried to come here before but were closed due to the hours. Only down side is there is no beer or alcohol there but the food is DEFINITELY worth the trip, and great service from our waiter who just lit up the whole room.

Literally the best Thai food on the planet. Have been a customer here for 20yrs — have tried Thai food all over the country & nothing compares. Their Pad Thai is in a class by itself.

We arrived at 6:58 for dinner and the doors were locked. It says it closes at 8 so we were not sure why it was closed, but we were very disappointed. I understand that this place has odd hours, but it should really be unlocked while it’s open.

I have been dining here for almost 30 years and I can say that it is our favorite place to eat. If you ask our 4 year old where she wants to go, its Thai Kitchen. Every sauce is so unique and flavorful that you will want to keep coming back. But understand this is an experience and should not be measured by how long it takes to get food. Ty

I have tried near every thai restaurant in Spokane and nothing beats the quality and deliciousness of the Thai Kitchen. Even the out of town nothing beats the Thai Kitchen! My family has been coming here my entire life(since 1994) Paul and Benji have always been the sweetest to us! Good Service and great quality has never changed! Trust me the wait is worth it! Best Thai in Town!

This is now my favorite place to eat in Spokane. I’ve only been there once but it was absolutely splendid. Slow service? Well, slow down! We’re so use to insta-meals! The best things of life often take time and this place is worth it! YUM!!! I’m salivating just thinking of it!!! Unilocal helped me find Thai Kitchen and this is my first review. Ever. SLOW down and enjoy every succulent morsel!

Well – We thought we’d give them another chance after a very bad experience last visit. We waited more than an HOUR for our food, then they gave some of our order to the wrong table. Tonight it happened again. We got there right after they opened– there was only about 6 tables filled. Again… a full hour wait while literally EVERYONE around us was seated, ordered and were served with 15 – 20 minutes. It would have been more acceptable if someone at least stopped by to say«sorry for the wait» or something. With that said, their food is very good and fresh, but the portions have gotten increasingly smaller over the years. I’m done here. It’s Thai Bamboo from now on.

Don’t go here for lunch break if you don’t have at least an hour to spare. Just drove 20 minutes to get here on my lunch break and they don’t do to go orders so 20 minutes back to the office and a wasted lunch break. Not like there’s anywhere else around here to get Thai food either.

Absolutely the best Thai food in eastern Washington. I accidentally came here and lucky for me, it was open because their hours are very short. I live in Cheney and would happily drive here just for the food. The food is authentic and delicious. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys Thai food and knows the real deal

I’ve eaten Thai in Asia, Europe and the US and this is one of the best places I’ve had Thai food ever. You must try their home made spice. It goes great with their dumplings. The flavors of the main dishes were spot on.

So after being recommended to try this place as very good Thai we finally gave it a try! The place is run by a very sweet old man and I feel bad writing this review but here it goes… We were greeted and seated right away by the host/owner. We ordered our food(tom ka and pad Thai) and waited and waited and waited and waited. It was probably close to an HOUR(probably more) before we got our food! I have never ever waited this long for food and it was just okay… The restaurant was busy and most tables were occupied but omg it was pretty brutal. The service was very friendly but they need to speed up the wait time!!!

Excellent service and food! The BEST potstickers EVER! Their homemade sauce is sweet yet spicy! A must try! No pepsi for this girl and they have COKE! No long waits experienced during our visit. This little gem is open WED, THURS and FRI. Don’t miss out on delicious food!!! Thank you Paul for an amazing dinner!!!

It’s not often you have the owner working the front and making sure that you have everything you need. Can’t say enough great things about our experience. The owner(Paul, I believe) was incredibly respectful to my wife, gave us great recommendations and was extremely attentive. I can see why he has such a loyal following. One of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. The food was quality, cooked perfectly and the sauces delicious. Pot stickers, and our pork and chicken dinner dishes were excellent. My curry with the pork dish was smooth and had just the right amount of spice for me. Love the wild rice that came with it, a nice twist on just handing out white sticky rice. If you are visiting Spokane, it’s worth the trip. They are only open certain hours, and not on weekends — so plan ahead to avoid any frustrations — because it is worth it.

Come when this place opens, because the restaurant will get packed with Paul’s regulars by 5:30 and your wait for food will jump from 10 minutes to 30 – 40 minutes. Paul knows practically every patron by name since he’s been here since 1990. He’s a cute old man who’s super friendly and wants to make sure you enjoy his wife’s delicious cooking. He’ll take your order, recommend his favorites, and be the one who serves your food to make sure he tells you this is the best dish ever! Haha! We ordered the pad thai with chicken; it was delicious and has a nice peanuty sauce on the side. It had more bean sprouts than anticipated. My fiancé also really enjoyed their Thai dumplings… crispy on the outside, and skin was not too thin nor too thick. I’m not sure if they make it on premise though, but it wasn’t bad. All in all, I’ll likely be coming back again soon to try his other dishes!

OBITUARY My husband died of old age waiting for his delicious meal. In lieu of flowers, send this restaurant enough money to hire more cooks. Restaurant would have earned 5 stars if I didn’t have to visibly watch my husband age in his chair. Service was very friendly, and food is great. All I’m saying is, bring something or someone to keep you occupied, or bring a shovel to bury your spouse.

This place is the epitome of a mom and pop shop. The owner/waiter is very friendly and will walk around and talk with the diners as much as he will work. I found this refreshing and very welcoming. While a bit expensive for thai compared to LA prices, it isn’t unreasonable. The food felt very authentic, though I am not an expert on authentic Thai food. The curry was definitely spicy. I had the Jungle curry #1 spiciness and it was still very hot for me. I normally ask for extra mild but still struggle through. The wait times were a bit longer but it looked like their was only one cook, probably his wife? I loved this place, I would definitely return of I ever come back into town.

Closest thing to the food we got in Thailand I’ve found in Spokane so far. Paul and his lovely family even put a fried egg on the side, just like back home. :) Order the Massaman Curry. Just do it. And ask for Nam Pla on the side. You’ll like it.
