Jimmy’s Roofing

They charged us $ 900 to tarp just HALF of our garage. They were at our house less than 1 hour! When I called about the insanely high price, and why they sent 3 guys when I was told they were sending 2 (that extra guy cost me $ 200) and why I was billed for 2 hours when they were at my house less than 1 hour, they said they charge for the time they have to go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the materials?!! what! $ 99 an hour per guy to go shopping!?! If I knew that I would have gone myself and bought the supplies. Plus Lowes is 5 mins from my house, they shouldn’t have taken an hour to get 2 tarps and 2×4’s and screws. Then they left my gate open and my dog got out (they knew we had dogs they asked us to put them away) and I had to go get him from SCRAPS and pay them $ 70.
They wouldn’t adjust the price at all, customer service is TERRIBLE. The owner Jimmy is a jerk. All over HORRIBLE experience! I will never give them a dime of business.

Dissappointment, that’s the only word I can say to express treatment from this business. I have used their service twice and both times they kept the shingles that was purchased for the roof Repair even though I was told all materials purchased would be mine at the end of the job. Now I needed some quick work after this recent wind storm, about the 15^th of November 2015. So I called them and let them know I was a repeat customer and explained my dilemma and told them about the issue with the shingles. They apologized and said that I wouldn’t have to pay for any materials and that being I was a repeat customer I would get priority service. Well it’s almost been a week since that conversation and I haven’t even received a phone call. Appears this company will take advantage of the customer and their promises hold no truth. Consumers beware, be wary this outfit. I’d give them the poorest review I could.

I was shocked to read the one negative review on this business. (The not posted reviews match my experience much more)
We have been using Jimmy’s Roofing for at least five years. We have never been charged drive time or any questionable fees. We have used them in both of our homes for many things including emergency repair on our shop after a wind storm, Spanish tile replacement on our home, fixing several leaks on a 100 year old Victorian and even gutter cleaning. I have had to deal with these nice folks many times and they have always been upfront, honest and fair. I highly recommend.
