Boomers Classic Rock Bar & Grill

I LOVE the food here. Dave and his son Drew make some of the best food you can get anywhere, and they’re genuinely nice people. They DO need more bartenders when the club is busy, though. And Drew really does pick some winners to have on tap!

We stopped in to get a bite to eat while visiting family in Spokane. Boomers Classic Rock Bar & Grill exceeded our expectations for great customer service. Our server was friendly professional and made great food suggestions for us. I had the Patty Benatar burger my spouse had the grilled salmon. The burger was the best burger I have had in a long time. Their special BOOM SAUCE was so very good! My spouse loved the grilled salmon and said it was perfection. I am planning to visit Spokane in the future and this place I will definitely visit again! Everything was perfect!

We found a good review on Unilocal or somewhere and decided to give it a try. Pulled into the parking lot and thought…“really??”. But we are adventurous and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is a dingy dive bar, but a place that serves up food and live classic rock music is right up our alley. We couldn’t have been happier with the food or the music. Service was so so, but they were in live music bar mode when we visited, so we didn’t expect much in that area. I wish I had taken a picture of the full menu because the names of everything were very creative… all rock music inspired. The star of our dinner was the Steven Thai-​Ler chicken burger — it was so amazingly delicious. One of those meals we still talk about and can’t wait to visit again. Food was really so surprisingly good. And the music was great too. We will definitely be back someday!

Good food but not so good service. They only have two bartenders so it makes it hard for them to serve everyone. Also if they don’t like you for the slightest reason, they will not serve you. Also their drink are overpriced by at least a dollar.
I went there last-​night with 15 people. They wouldn’t even come down to our side of the bar. Needless to say they lost 15 customers. Way to run a business.

So the plan was to make steaks in on the grill. The evening got late and we resorted to Unilocal for a good place for steak. Found Boomers close by and someone mentioned the steak, figured I would give it a shot. Oh man they did not disappoint. Bartender was a really cool guy, we were friends by the end of the night. Couldn’t decide between steak or a burger, he said if I was on the fence to go with the steak. Again not disappointed! It was cooked perfectly, seasoned well and very juicy. Mm, I’m full but still wanting to eat more. Fries were hot and crispy, salad was great, didn’t skimp on anything. I will definitely be coming back.
Oh my! And I almost forgot the live band! Made the atmosphere to go with the pool and the darts.

Not much to look at from the outside, we almost drove by… But mmmm glad we decided to stop and try a burger and fries! The place is clean, friendly and the food was great!
One of us got the curly fries and the other the sweet potato neither disappoint! The owner was a nice guy and the locals were awesome. We felt ok leaving our coats at the table and playing pool. They had other games and a selection of domestic brews, full bar, local brews as well as wine. They also have live music. We will be back! It was a winner.

What can I say about the Mr. Mojo Risin Burger that hasn’t already been said about the late great Jim Morrison? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This burger was hands down THE BEST burger I have ever had! I thought I was eating a Brontosaurus Burger from the Flinstones. This burger was colossal and delicious. My compliments to the Chef. You haven’t had a burger until you come to Boomers. Anyone reading this better get their hide in here and grab a stool.
I had to apologize to my husband while scarfing my finely crafted burger down my throat because I told him this was the happiest I had ever been.
They have a wonderful selection of beer on tap and a nice evening atmosphere. I will definitely be back. if not for the Pale Ale, then for the amazing customer service.

First impression is that it might be a dive. Turns out though it’s that good kind of dive that maybe keeps it off the radar of some people. Half the taps are good craft beer; and all were local or semi-​local when I was in. They also have some craft bottles available. Food was good too; their Thai sauce might be my new personal favorite; and the sweet potato fries were great.
