Promises AKA Spirit Lodge literally saved my life —
I’m forever grateful that I entered treatment here in March 2015. The staff is top– notch from the sweet ladies who keep the lodge sparkling clean to the chefs who put out 3 great meals a day with a smile. There is a therapeutic team in place which oversaw the many holistic amenities offered, my counselor had high credentials and was readily available to me (and to my family as well) — the meditation/​spirituality classes in particular are amazing ! Add in the gorgeous Texas hill country and luxury amenities like massage and a steam shower and I rate Promises a 5 out of 5. Thank you guys for all you do really I believe part of the reason I’ve maintained sobriety is the tools I learned in my stay at Promises, life is now becoming the exciting adventure it should be !

This place is a joke. Save your money and go to $ 1.00 AA/​NA meetings. Or take a great trip and meditate on the beach or a mountain whatever. These people running this place are very smart to charge your insurance company $ 100,000. And, they cannot even follow up with once you leave as their website promises.
