added new menu items, nachos, queso dip. delicious. many cold beers on tap. friendly service. great spot in downtown.

Um, it is hard to talk much about anything other than the dust everywhere. Dust covers every surface that is not a beer tap or table. The food was fine. Not much to write home about. We tried a slice of pizza, a hero and a large salad. The salad was a nice large portion, enough for two and the dressing tasted homemade. The Red Baron Hero was a big sandwich served with a mountain of tater tots on the side — if you are hungry it will fill you up. Seems like a Sunday hang-​out for the local college students who are partaking in the all-​you-​care-​to-​drink mimosas. They also have a nice patio area to dine and people watch outside.

Took my wife here fur lunch on several occasions. The first few times were ok, nothing special. The last few times were terrible. My wife had to get back to work when after her hour long lunch break we still didn’t have a pizza to eat. The very last time she found some hair in her food. We’re done here.

Pizza was really good, but the service is horrible. We waited over an hour for our food. We could never find our waiter for refills on water or other drinks. I think all in our party would’ve been happy just to have water. It is way too loud! I could deal with the noise if everything else would have been up to par but considering the horrible service, the noise drive us up a wall! I hope to never go back here!

We got seated as soon as we walked in, not busy at all on a Saturday at 4pm. Hostess was okay, but the real problems were: we waited for our pizza for over 35mins, and for what, a very thin pizza; Their pizza margarita had a weird smell, not sure what it is, but I still had to try some cause I was really hungry at this time (35mins really??); Also while waiting for 35mins, it gave me the chance to observe everything, such as the place it’s self, the floors are filthy, its probably filthy because one of the hostess were cleaning the table with their filthy rag and just drags all the crumbs to the floor and shakes the rag off by are table. Also the same thing was happening to the bar area, some guy was cleaning off the table with his hands and the same thing was happening, dragging the crumbs to the floor. Then finally someone decided to sweep the floors but… They just left the broom and dustpan in the middle of their restaurant with some filth. I’m not one to complain, but this place need some major improvement, from FOOD, the service and CLEANLINESS. People are watching.

pizza is ok but, the subs need help– the bread could be better. dark inside. don’t be back.

I enjoy your food. However, if you’re supposed to be open at 12 on Sunday you should have some sort of sign up if you’re not going to be open that day.

Fantastic food and service was great. 4 $ Liter night and two for one slices on Thursdays keeps me coming back. Anyone who has a problem with this place probably has unrealistic standards about how restaurants run and feel entitled to be the center of the servers attention, regardless of how many tables they are serving. Keep up the good work Ace, definitely coming back regularly.

Wings are excellent! Good size and texture and the «Afterburner» sauce is spicy but not out-​of-​hand.
Steak sandwich and homemade chips were good.
Pizza was a bit dry, but there were single slices rather than from a whole pie.
Good beer selection, but surprisingly didn’t have any RJ Rockers despite being a block down the street from their brewery.
Our server was friendly and made sure we were taken care of.

Great staff, great food, not sure what other reviewers are looking for it’s a bloody pizza and pub. Delicious and good beer.

We eat here about once a month. Great lunch special. 2 slices with 2 toppings each for $ 6.95. The pizza usually comes out quickly and the places it conversation friendly. My buddy’s and I usually talking junk and laughing but so are all the other tables. They have big slices of pizzas and the home made chips are pretty good too.

Right across from my office so I frequent this place almost weekly for almost a year now. Never had an issue. Usually order the grilled chicken Cesar salad. However, the last 3 times there have been serious service issues. About 2 months ago I waited 15 minutes before being asked for my order then it took nearly 30 minutes to get my order (some issue cooking the chicken) and it was incomplete with no bread stick (my fav part). The server kept saying she was going to bring it but never did. Took a break due to the service issue
The next time about a month later ordered via phone to go because I was so limited on time. They said 20 minutes, so I waited 20 minutes before going over. Then I waited another 15 minutes to get my order. Once I flagged down a server I was told (again) there is an issue with cooking the chicken. How hard is it to grill some chicken? My bill was where waiting for me and I didn’t have to wait to pay it, so obviously they had my order.
Fast forward to today. I arrived just after 1pm and was seated outside. Servers have come and gone without stopping by for my drink or food order. At 115 I decided to go in and find someone myself. The server issues no apology for the wait and just took my order as she was programmed to do. I guess I need to find another salad place near my office because this one has struck out.

The service is very poor waited 10 minutes no server showed up for our drink order. We left and I don’t think they noticed. Generally I have come to expect poor service in most of the places to eat in downtown Spartanburg, but tonight was over the top.

We had meat lovers pizza. The pizza tasted OK, but diced ham on a pizza is a bit strange. The server did a good job, but the place has a somewhat sketchy atmosphere. Definitely not intimate.

I’ve eaten lunch here a few time. Their pizza is inconsistent. Multiple times their pizza has been doughy (under cooked). I’ve had to send it back a few times. I was disappointed when the removed their meatball sub from the lunch combo section. The atmosphere is fine enough. This could be a 3 star lunch destination if they tightened up a bit.

Been here a few times for lunch. Haven’t been disappointed. Can’t say for evening hours. I’ve enjoyed the pizzas and appetizers I’ve tried so far. Don’t be afraid to try!

The place looks cool from the outside but I was not impressed with the food or service here. Wings were cold and under cooked.

Its mid-​day and this place is buzzing with energy. Industrial feel with great background music inside. Outside the patio overlooking the square is packed too. FREE WIFI. password is pizza… so come stay a while or have a meeting. Tvs placed throughout. WWII Flying Ace theme. Ample portions of food prepared petfectly and served with a smile! Good selection of beers organized nicely. Back room allows bigger parties and upper deck is a fun place to gather for a more private feel its split into two spaces… one for large parties of 6 or more and other side is a top shelf lounge… (21 amd over only) David my server is super friendly! …tip him well. Alot of businesses frequent this centrally located pub /​eatery. Pay attention to half off specials and allow extra time for the waitstaff to check you out. All kegs in walk in cooler at all times… nice set up. Reservations are accepted except Fri thru Sun.

Awesome beer selection. Pizza and wings are amazing. Very large patio that is pet friendly. A few games usually on inside.

This place has a lot of things going for it. Great location, with a very nice décor.
Love the pizza, Its huge and very flat and NY style. Im a fan of this place manly for one reason. They have anchovies! No one ever has them and I was so glad. plus beer help ;P
