Inn On Main

I swear I’m the bed and breakfast king on Unilocal!And, the Inn on Main is an exceptional property. Hosted by Susan, the home and rooms are stocked with antiques and complete character. Though I had a room, I didn’t actually spend the night (work commitments came up and I had to leave). But, everything about the property was perfect. I’m looking forward to spending a night sometime in the near future.

Best B&B we’ve been lucky enough to find. Charming historic home, gracious knowledgeable hosts, and a gourmet breakfast. Staying at Inn on Main is worth a trip to Spartanburg — which is a good small city.

Great place — can’t think of a single negative. Spacious, quiet rooms. Friendly host and hostess. Excellent food. Wireless connectivity. Pleasant spaces to relax — upstairs porch and open area and multiple rooms downstairs… Highly recommended.

I have stayed at the Inn on Main 4 times and every time has been incredibly special. Susan and Wayne go out of their way to make their home your home.

– Beautiful antiques, including stellar china collections
– A wide selection of teas available all day, as well as coffee (with mints for coffee breath — ha!)
– Free coke, diet coke, and water bottles
– Muffins and other treats to enjoy all day
– Fantastic downtown location, close to Converse and Wofford as well as First Presbyterian Church and Church of the Advent
– There is a wrap-​around porch as well as plenty of outdoor space to enjoy
– Wayne makes the BEST breakfast! You can count on a full southern breakfast here. My faves include the sausage breakfast casserole and their tomato & basil quiche. Fantastic grits and biscuits, as well as fresh fruit and the best maple syrup pecan bacon ever.
– Aveda products in the bath!
– Fans in each bedroom
– Individual thermostats for each room
The Inn on Main set the bar for what I expect in a bed and breakfast. I can easily come and go as I please without disturbing others. Wayne and Susan ensure that breakfast is ready when you are. Its such a beautiful inn with incredible hospitality. This is where locals go to get away!
I love staying here. I always recommend the Inn on Main if you are staying in Spartanburg. Why stay at a chain hotel or a shady motel when you can support local business (i.e. Wayne and Susan, the nicest folks you could ever meet!)?
