So far this is my favorite Starbucks. The girl who works the afternoon shift is nice enough to look up my account info to get my reward number since my phone never downloads in there. She always seems pleasant. That’s what I look for in a coffee house. It’s not just the coffee, it’s the whole environment

I love coming in here at night, the Baristas are very friendly and they even know me by name.

Friend service and very knowledgable. Service is relatively quick most of the time. The crew is competitive here and like to challenge the others stores about things they do not know. Today a gentleman named Brandon was working the drive thru, he was a very upbeat individual. My drink was made perfect. Keep up the great work Starbucks.

I ordered a traveler the day before so I could pick it up and get to a meeting. They hadn’t started it at all so I had to wait. Trying to plan ahead and be on top of things didn’t work here. At least they were nice, but don’t remember ever having to pay a separate cost for the cups before?

The dumbest thing I ever witnessed in a Starbucks was a gentleman patronizing a barista. He claimed he was from Seattle and knew what«real» coffee tastes like and Starbucks wasn’t it. His churlish, snobby attitude towards this barista was irritating to me and everyone else in line waiting for their morning fix. True, Starbucks’ coffee is not the best; it’s not hand roasted by coffee artisans with handlebar mustaches and they don’t have cool original art on the walls. What Starbucks is is good, fast and convenient. This review covers the busy Pyramid and McCarran location which is one of the original Starbucks that came to Reno/Sparks and remains my favorite. They always have the best employees and this location has recently undergone yet another transformation. I love the facelift of this Starbucks. I sat down the other day at the new communal table to wait for my order. People were busily typing away on lap tops and smartphones, presumably writing the great American novel(checking Facebook). It was a really nice energy and I wanted to stay, but my iced green tea came along shortly and I started my day as another happy Starbucks customer. People can bash Starbucks all they want but they’re still gonna be there for you and they’re open earlier and later than most coffee places. True, they’re not as cool as the independent coffee shops, but they’re dependable; like a best friend that doesn’t get mad when you want to hang out with new people. Oh and that gentleman from Seattle that really knew what coffee should taste like… He took his coffee over to the cream and sugar bar and doused it heavily with half and half and artificial sweeteners. So I guess that’s what real coffee tastes like in Seattle?

Starbucks is awesome, except for this one. They take forever, even when nobody is in there. I complained about it and the employee at the drive they was so rude she walked away when I was speaking. I wasn’t being mean, I just told her my issue. Horrible customer service and I will never go to this one again.

Okay– I am not a Starbucks fan so much as I am a Jenna fan. Jenna has worked there for years and she is who I am giving the 5 stars to. Yay Jenna! She is an early bird and if you get up early enough and go through the drive thru she will make your day!

They are friendly and my drink is always how I want it. I’m here most days early in the morning and the wait is never too long.
