Reno Sparks Lock & Glass

I was told that a technician would be at the grocery store to unlock my car between 20 and 30 minutes. When I called after an hour and 20 minutes, it was still another 30 minutes. I was there almost 2 hours and not happy.
I told Mark, the technician, about this when he arrived. He opened by car and told me there would be no charge.
He said that that is just not the way that they do business! He did the right thing and I really appreciate it. I’ll use them again, for sure!!!

My boyfriend was preoccupied with trying to bring some things to me he didn’t grab his house key. Of course after hours.
Mark was my second call. His price was more reasonable than the first and he was here in the 30 minutes he said it would take him. He was very friendly and although he didn’t pick the lock with hollywood movie speed (2 seconds lol) he had us inside in under 2 minutes.
I was surprised he didn’t want to see our ID first but once unlocked it was his first question. He was incredibly polite, personable, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend

The key fob for my vehicle stopped working. After being told by the dealer that another key fob would require a diagnostic appointment plus $ 200, I decided to go another route. I ordered a new key fob online, and called a locksmith, who informed me that my vehicle was «a pain», and that he really didn’t want to do the work, but would charge me $ 150 to reprogram the key fob. I told him not to put himself out.
After writing a scathing review of the first locksmith on Unilocal,I called Reno Sparks Lock & Glass. The difference in customer service couldn’t have been more stark. Being that I called after hours, Mark told me to hold off coming in to avoid paying emergency service charges (thanks!). When I did come in, they were able to reprogram the key fob in about five minutes, and charged me $ 40. Awesome.
These guys were friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonable. I’ll be coming to them for all of my locksmith needs from this point forward. Highly recommended!
