I had an emergency gall bladder surgery last week that landed me in the office of dr. Murray/northern Nevada medical group for a follow up. While having my staples removed, a woman in black scrubs with a stethoscope walked in twice to inform the girl removing my staples that she needed the room we were in. Nothing like being rushed through a medical procedure and walked in on twice with your dress around your chest! I felt totally violated. The woman in black scrubs then told the girl removing my staples to put me in room 1. While in room 1, I heard Dr. Murray in the hallway vey loudly reprimanding the girl for putting me there. «I’ve had it with this office! My follow-ups should’ the in procedure rooms unless I’m doing a procedure!» Then he opened the door to the room I was in, said«ok» and walked back out. So unprofessional!

My husband was referred to Dr Nuthi for memory issues. Had our first appt. that lasted approximately 20 minutes & tests were ordered. Going back to get test results, we were 10 minutes late, even called the office to ask if we should still come, that was when she said we had 10 minutes to get there, we made it in time, and got called back immediately. Where we then sat for 20 minutes. Checked with the nurse who«checked», came told us again Dr would be right in. Another 10 minutes went by before the Dr appeared. She read over the test results, and told us nothing much was found. Start him on meds, re-test in 2 months. She couldn’t get out of the office fast enough, we practically chased her down the hallway trying to ask questions. She still couldn’t stop and talk with us, we paid our co-pay and deserved a full appointment. Hope we can find another Neuro that specializes in Alzheimer’s and takes my husband’s insurance. So frustrating to think of the cost of that office visit, and the EEG&MRI, only to be told nothing from the«Dr» !!

M y doctor is great. It’s the front desk and office staff that suck. They are rude, dismissive, and they do not care about you. You are made to feel as if you’re bothering them by asking them to do their job. I’ve been dealing with this for years. I refuse to leave my awesome doctor of 8 years, so I’m making my voice heard. If i acted this way at any of the jobs I’ve had, I’d have been fired. I’m over it. Get your stuff together guys.

Cynthia Davis at Northern Nevada Medical Group used to be my primary care practitioner. Originally things were fine, but things progressively got worse at her office in terms of customer service. Yes — customer service… some medical offices forget about it — like this one. Her office staff and assistants are plain rude, and they do not take their patient’s health seriously. Without going into details of my medical history, it will suffice to say that I take medication on a daily basis where the dosage needs to be checked and changed regularly. However, they would not send me lab slips — they would require I come into the office — paying my copay each time, just to get a lab slip — even if it meant being off of my medication for a month at a time. Then, to get my medication refilled or changed, they would again require I come into the office. In addition, instead of giving me a heads up that I need to schedule a yearly appointment to renew birth control, instead, they just deny my refill and, yet again, take me off my pills until I go see them. This has happened more than once, and most recently, they not only refused to refill my birth control until I made a new appointment, when they DID send the refill to my pharmacy(7 days too late) they sent it in for the MOSTEXPENSIVE brand name of the birth control they possibly could — instead of what I am normally prescribed. The office staff is completely rude and they act like you are a drug addict just trying to get your meds. Because I’m just wacked out of control on hormone supplements, watch out now! Northern Nevada Medical Group(Cynthia Davis’ office in particular, since I can’t speak for the rest), does not care about their patients health conditions and do not take them seriously. They are seriously okay with taking you off daily medication so they can get their money out of you for an office visit. I’ve switched to a doctor’s office whose staff is friendly and do not act like you are bothering the crap out of them when you call with a concern or need a temporary refill before your appointment — a doctor who is serious about taking care of people. I would not recommend Cynthia Davis’ office or any other office at Northern Nevada Medical Group, based on my years-long struggle with them.
