I haven’t had a horrible time there. I got a good deal on an iPod once there. My most recent visit I got a little judged because I am a female. Oh really? I can’t handle blood sex and gore in video games? Granted I’m not a huge gamer but hello! I’m not a saint either! Step up your customer service skills y’all! Don’t judge a book by its cover! But all in all it’s not a bad store.

I came into the store to return two accessories I had purchased for my PS3 because I had sold my system to a friend without these extra accessories only a few days after purchasing them. I was immediately rejected, saying they could not be returned if they were opened, which does not comply with the return policy on the back of your receipt. I argued(calmly and politely) that the policy clearly states that I could return these for a refund even if they were opened and I wasn’t trying to rip anyone off, I just wanted my money back, thats all. The return policy states exactly: «New accessories(opened or unopened) = full refund within 30 days of purchase.» Emily, the associate that was refusing me, eventually threw her hands up in the air and stated«ALRIGHT! Since I have to leave, I’ll refund these and if I get in trouble, or if I get fired, then I’ll just come find you!!» Then proceeded to give me my $ 120 back in $ 5’s and $ 1’s, even though I paid with a credit card. I think this is completely unnecessary, threatening, rude, and unprofessional. I wasn’t asking for anything special, I just wanted a refund. She said she was the manager, and if these are the type of people that run your stores, I wouldn’t be able to shop at a Gamestop knowing that the manager’s are«Gonna come find me.»
