While having a fireplace repair done, we heard a loud bang from the garage. Garage door spring broke. Even though the company doing the other repair also does garage doors, I looked on Unilocal to see if I could find someone else, since I had a bad taste of the other company.
Elite had great reviews and a coupon too. Nice to get a break when you’re on SS. Johnny called me right back and said he could have Jeremy out here this afternoon.
Jeremy was great. The job is done. The price was right.

Horrible costumer service!!! They are not interested in fixing what needs to be fixed… They are all about up selling. Once they find out its a repair only they become very rude, they didn’t even include the weather stripping, that was «extra» the spring broke leaving my car locked in the garage. I called them they came out and said another 200 bucks plus.$ I only contacted elite doors because of Sam shad endorsed them… We are very unhappy with their service…

Jeremy went above and beyond the call of duty stopping by twice to consult before the install of my 18×18 roll up steel door. Then the install which was no easy task came off without a hitch. Johnny the owner and Jeremy went to great pains to make sure the door was installed properly and even followed up offering to adjust whatever was needed. This company is named Elite for the right reason!

After one of my garage doors broke, Johnny responded the same day. Although he could fix the broken bracket, he called the local manufacturer who had the part and got it fixed that day by the competitor so my door could be operational and closed that night! Now that is someone I will always use and trust with my family and friends. I have used Elite door since that first call and they are always «Johnny on the Spot» fast, with the best knowledge, customer focused service and a fair price. Johnny and the «Elite» team are simply the best you can find, period!!!

I don’t give many reviews but felt I had to in this case. Johnny and Jeremy with Elite Garage Doors are a great team and go above and beyond what you would expect from any contractor. They are easy to get ahold of, show up when they tell you they are going to, and do a great job! What more could you ask for? If you are having garage door problems or need a tune up these are the guys to call.

I had a horrible sound coming from my garage door, like nails on a caulk board. So loud it would wake the neighbors if I came home late.
Elite garage doors came out, serviced the door, and replaced the rollers with lifetime warranty rollers!
The work was done fast, and efficiently, and the price was better than the rest!

Yesterday I heard an ad on the radio for Elite garage door and a tune-​up service they offered for a very reasonable price. My garage door is about 11 now and it was starting to make some strange noises and my opener died so I decided to give them a call. First off I was totally shocked that someone actually answered the phone. I feel like it is impossible to get anyone on the phone with a first call. Jeremy was very friendly and we set up an appointment for the very next day. He came out at the time promised and was very friendly. He was able to inspect my garage door and was open and honest about my motor. He hooked me up with a new opener and tried to get my keypad to work but it is dead. Anyhow, great service. Fast and reliable. I highly recommend.

Johnny is very good at what he does! He’s the best at garage doors and is humble and professional. He fixed my dad’s garage door and helped my dad understand how to maintain the quality of the door. Johnny really takes his job seriously and I can count on him.

Professional, prompt, efficient! We had spent several hours trouble-​shooting our garage door that would not stay closed and finally decided we needed a professional to solve the problem, and professional Johnny Lewis (the owner) is! He worked us into his schedule on the day we called and fixed our problem — a broken wire on the limit switch that we could not have fixed ourselves — in about ½ hour, gave our spring and opener a tune-​up as well for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Quick, friendly, affordable service! I called at 8:30 am and by 10am the owner was at my home. He gave me a free estimate and was able to replace the broken springs right away. I’ve had other companies work on the garage door before, but Elite is now my go to company. Not only was the repair fixed quickly and efficiently the service fee was more reasonable than other companies I’d talked to. He even chatted with my curious three year old answered questions for him. It’s great that they take the time to be friendly, and don’t rush your job.

I apologize for not remembering the gentlemen’s name that came out to do my estimate… but he was awesome… gave me the estimate at 5:30 in the evening and when I asked the soonest he could do the job he said «how about now?» I was floored. An hour later I had a new opener for my 3^rd car garage and he tuned up the exisiting garage door and at what I thought was a great cost! We needed a new garage door on one of our rental properties and had received quotes from several other company’s. we decided to get one more and called Elite. Johnny came out this morning gave us a Great price! Removed the old door and installed the new one all in the span of about 4 hours. I would Highly recommend Elite to anyone. 5 Stars++

Elite is definitely what they are. Our service technician came out promptly, made some minor adjustments to our railing, door works again like a charm. Very knowledgable, explained to me what the problem was and recommendations for future service. You can’t beat that!

Recently Johnny repaired our rental garage door opener… fast, efficient and friendly.
My husband returned home after having spent 2 days working on the problem.
He said Johnny showed up and knew just what to do and went beyond what
was expected to finish the job.
Then we sent him to mom’s house for her garage door problems two weeks later. She is on a limited income and he performed all repairs and was kind enough to knock some $$ off the bill.
Today my neighbor called to ask who was the garage door service person we
raved about. She called him this am and he was out this afternoon. We asked her
to send Johnny over and do some minor adjustments for us while he was in the neighborhood. Johnny is kind, courteous and professional. Thank heavens
we have his number now and I advise my friends about him.

WOW! That was easy. They came out for a free estimate and didn’t pressure me at all to make a decision. Johnny was super knowledgeable about garage doors and openers. He diagnosed the problem quickly and went above and beyond. (Lubricating all of the hinges and springs, putting a new rope on the door and fixing a worn out gear) There was no up-​selling at all, just a real classy pro. He even saved the worn out part for me. Total for a totally busted gear on a door that has seen better days: $ 150. Time it took from calling to a fixed door. 1 hour. Winning!

When my garage door quit working on a Sunday I needed to find someone to repair it that day because it was holding my car captive. But the dealers I found online either wanted a fortune for an «emergency service call» or didn’t answer the phone, so I checked Craigslist and found Elite Garage Door’s and called. The lady who answered was great and said that someone would be out within the hour. Johnny, the owner arrived and immediately diagnosed the problem and went to work fixing it. He was very pleasant and definitely knew what he was doing. About an hour later the door was fixed and worked better than it has in 10 years. Having to get your garage door fixed isn’t the funnest thing to do on a Sunday, but Johnny certainly made it painless, quick and affordable.
