If you are a member of their VIP membership, then you get $ 79.99 taken out from your bank account monthly and that minimum can be used towards a massage, facial, etc. I love going to this place, however I wasn’t very happy with 2 of the massage therapists I had. I recommend Elizabeth, she does a great deep tissue massage. Also, hot stones, aromatherapy, and hot towel are free of charge!

I love Ojas Wellness. The receptionists are incredibly friendly and helpful and they never push me to buy anything after my services. I’ve been going to Stephanie to get my eyebrows done for years. She is the best and I get compliments all the time. She does a great job. I got my first facial with Brittany in October and I’ve been back twice since to see her again. After my second facial with her, I decided to do the well pass VIP program so now I get to see her on a monthly basis for a facial.

I’m going here for acucpuncture — which I love! I had acupuncture done at a different(non-Ojas) location and wasn’t a fan, but decided to try it out at Ojas and it was a completely different experience. My acupuncturist, Shahrzad, was WONDERFUL and made me feel completely at ease. It’s obvious that she loves what she does and is very passionate about acupuncture and truly cares about what’s best for her clients. From the moment you step inside Ojas and smell of lavender in the air and are greeted by the friendly attentive staff, it’s a happy relaxing place to be. I also have a Living Social voucher for a massage, which I’m very eager to use. As much as I love this place — it’s just so expensive. Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover acupuncture. I signed up for the Ojas Wellpass which is a $ 79.99 fee that is charged monthly and goes towards discounted services. With that, it comes to $ 80 per acupuncture session for 60 minutes — plus tip. It really adds up quick especially when you need to go once a week for the full effects, but this treatment is very beneficial to me so I intend to keep going. Without the Wellpass it would be $ 105 for a 60 minute acupuncture session — plus tip.

I am sad to say I will no longer be using Ojas Hunt Valley location after using the complimentary massage yesterday, 6÷9÷2013. Even though things went much better than last time, the massager did as many of your staff does, which is try to loosen up leg muscles by running their arm across the leg and mistaken runs it against the bone. This time I am bruised and having occasional sharp pain near my left knee where the massager spent a lot of time and in particular pushed themselves with force right on my leg bone, making it be bone on bone. I mentioned I ran a 5K that morning and would be tight/stiff in the legs a bit. Usually the Owings Mills location takes it easy when I mention this, but your Hunt Valley staff always says they can fix it. Well, this time I am bruised and in pain and now wondering if I will be able to run in this Saturday’s Baltimore 10 miler due to this created injury. In addition when the session ended the massager was gossiping about the customers with another massager outside the door and quickly stopped when I opened the door. The staff at Hunt Valley is too immature and unprofessional for me to seek massage service there any further. I will go back to Owings Mills where there doesn’t seem to be as many issues and the massagers are more professionally trained. I feel the Hunt Valley location is just a bunch of Massage Envy dropouts. I hope to not experience any further difficulties or I will be taking all my business elsewhere. Please look this problem and spend much more time with your Hunt Valley location as it is currently not acceptable.

I first discovered Ojas a few years ago as the result of a Living Social or Groupon deal(not sure which, they tend to run the same specials and are, to me, interchangeable!). Granted, I was skeptical at first(being on special and all), but now I am a die-hard fan. The reception staff is helpful and friendly, and all of the areas are clean and neat. The relaxation area is small, but no complaints — soft music, lighting, and refreshing flavored waters are comforting and set the mood for the treatment. My therapist(to whom I am now dedicated!) is always attentive and professional. Interestingly, all of the massages are personalized — which means that, without any extra charge — you may elect to have warm stones, aromatherapy, or hot towels used during your session. A very nice perk. Ojas also offers yoga and pilates(private or group instruction) and facials in addition to the massages. Ojas encourages its«monthly membership plan»($ 69.99) for the services(not required) so that all appointments are basically pre-paid — which I love and helps guarantee I’ll be in for my therapy once a month. Some treatments may cost a little extra(i.e.: a 90 minute massage is a $ 25.00 upcharge) but it’s nothing out of the usual range for these kinds of services. Internet scheduling is available or, if you are technologically challenged(as I tend to be sometimes…), you can always call and the staff will make an appointment for you. If you are looking for a true«wellness center», this may be the spot for you. So go get a Groupon or Living Social and try it out!

I’ve been going to Ojas for years for Massage and Yoga but I just had my first facial and I couldn’t have loved it more! It was so relaxing and rejuvinating. My esthetician, Rachel, was so kind and knowledgable and my skin looks so fresh! Can’t wait to go back for another facial!

This place is really nice, and my masseuse was wonderful.(I will add her name after I look it up). The environment is gorgeous and relaxing. From what I hear, the masseuses are very different and have different techniques, so you should consider this when booking an appointment. I was, however, REALLYANNOYED with the girl at the front desk. After having a wonderful and relaxing experience, she tried to sell me the loyalty program repeatedly. I wouldn’t mind simply being offered once, but she kept on trying to get me to fill out paper work to sign up after I told her no at least 3 times. Way to stress me out! I get that you probably work on commission, and you want people to sign up on the spot, before they realize what a big commitment and expense it is, but you just lost a customer who would have otherwise been a repeat client!

In hopes of getting my massage virginity taken, I decided to come to Ojas Wellness Center for my first ever massage. Being that I am a consistent runner who runs four times a day, along with weight lifting, it was in my best interest to find a place that can tend to relax my muscles and do some needed healing. I made my appointment online through Ojas’ official website. I got an e-mail confirmation to come in on Friday. I came into the center greeted by two beautiful women who led me to my message therapist, Julie Mae. It’s recommended that you show up ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time, regardless if it’s your first time or 50th time. Julie Mae has some good hands, literally. She made me feel pretty comfortable. She’s also a runner as well, which added like 10 points to her cool factor. Throughout the hour massage, I felt pretty comfortable and relaxed. Julie did an excellent job in my book, hands down. Pun intended. To those looking to come to Ojas for the first time for a massage, they offer an introductory rate for newcomers(60 min and 90 minute intervals). I would take this route if you want to come to Ojas. Trust me: your body will thank you subliminally.
