OMG– This place is amazing! I want one of everything!!! Twice :) The meal was very authentic and I swear I have never had such ‘fresh’ seafood inland. I will return to this hidden paradise often. Thank you so very much.

Foundthis place thanks to Unilocalers and it did not disappoint. Great service, food, and a surprise dessert of ice cream for our little guy at the end of our meal. Thanks for first class treatment and good food!

So damn good! The molcajete is some of the best around! We love going here. Brisa del sol is pretty good but they use imitation crab which is a bummer.

Been here a few times. Other reviewers have hit on most of the pluses and minuses. Parking is not sufficient. I think the salsa is too hot. Service can be hit and miss. But I love the food! My favorite is the chile verde plate. Huge chunks of pork roast. Try it!

Driving home to Az we stopped at Provo to gas up at Costco. Within a mile or so found this family style restaurant obviously frequented by locals. The service was attentive. The food was fresh, well prepared and generous in portions. Prices were fair. It would become one of our go to places if we lived in Provo.

This is most likely the best place in town. I have eaten here a number of times and have never been disappointed. I am surprised at the number of people that don’t even know about it. The food is great, service is quick, they respond to problems that arise and the prices are great. I am surprised that other places don’t try to make fresh Mexican food as well. It seems like that would be simple. The chimichanga is amazing if you like them.

Authentic mexican food, large portions we always bring home food. Waitresses nice but slow. My lunch came 5 minutes after everybody else was served.

Tried this place tonight after reading reviews on Unilocal. It was everything the other reviewers made it out to be… great food, reasonable prices, good service. My wife and I split the two meat molecajete, and it was more than enough for both of us. My teenage son had a chimichanga and beef enchilada… I think it’s there first time I’ve seen him full all month. If you like Mexican food, you might as well give it a try. I know I’ll be back.

This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at in Utah. The tacos were fantastic, chili relleno excellent, and the rice and beans incredible. I only wish it were located closer to home. I’ll come back any time I’m in Spanish Fork.

We really liked this place! It is an older building, but there is plenty of seating. The server was pleasant and attentive. Best was the food! Lunch prices were reasonable $ 8-$ 9. The portions were huge and tasty. The chips were freshly made and what the salsa lacked in chunkiness it made up for in flavor. We will be back.

As far as a good meal for a good price, there aren’t many restaurants in Utah that can compare with Los 2 Potrillos. I’ve ordered more than 10 dishes here and they are all very good quality. The chef used to run a restaurant in California and he keeps up with his connections to bring in good quality seafood. The food is never greasy and bursting with flavor. The portions are very generous, and they don’t compromise on quality. The only people I’ve met that don’t love this place are people that care more about ambience than what they eat. I don’t care about that so I give it a perfect rating.

I’ve been here countless times I would suggest bringing someone that knows Spanish dishes well but for starters their sopes are amazing! And then their meatball soup will blow your mind!

I was told by 3 different people to try this place out! So glad I did! Great service, great food! My kids loved it! My wife loved it! So of course I loved it! Taking time to write this review, because it is honestly the best Mexican food in Utah county!!!

Love this little hole-in-the wall gem! Tasty, good service, no frills. It’s the type of café where you see the same gentleman cooking your food every time you visit. Try the breakfast burrito for a Saturday brunch that will hold you over till the next day! Huge portions. Also love the ceviche and shrimp fajitas.

This is the my favorite place for Mexican not only in Spanish Fork but for Utah County. Great prices, and the food is even better, be sure to try the tostada de ceviche, the suisa enchiladas and my personal favorite the chicken Chimichunga. The service is really the only downfall at times it can be great and then the next visit is bad, But the delicious food makes up for the spotty service any day.

This is a decent option for a good meal in South UT County. It is in the old Pier 49 pizza location and still has a nautical theme to it. They serve Mexican an Seafood according to the sign. I was a little leery to eat at this place in the beginning I must admit. I mean, Mexican and Seafood? The sign might as well have said cupcakes and beer. I love them both but found it a bit odd that they are served at the same place. When you walk in you can smell the seafood. If you are not a fan of the shore you may want to rethink your visit.(Who doesn’t love the ocean?) We are always seated pretty quickly. They do get a little busy on Fri and Sat nights. Don’t worry too much about that, they have extra seating in the back. I will tell you that I love the Chile Relleno here. You get a choice of cheese(my fav), chicken, beef or pork. Most place only have cheese. The tacos show up to the table crispy, not soggy like they have been sitting in juice waiting around. The beans and rice are well… beans and rice. Our server was okay as well, when he was not watching TV. He only missed our drink refills. The location is a bit old and it is in need of a remodel. I have yet to try any seafood here(still a little hesitant), but will be back to try it, one day. I do like to get take out from here though! One thing I will warn you on, DONOTPARKINTHESEGWAYPARKINGLOT. No I don’t mean we are a bunch of Segway driving fools here, I mean the Segway store. The owner does not have an agreement with them on the parking situation. Park in the street. The Lord of the Segway store will boot your car and have you pay a fine. If you don’t he will have you towed. All in all? Good food, good location, decent service, in need of a remodel and crappy parking. I recommend you give it a try if you are in town for a week and are looking for a place to eat on day two or three.

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. It’s hard to choose what my favorite dish is so I’ll list my top three. The molcajete is awesome it comes with your choice of meat which you can choose 1 – 3 different meats. Steak, chicken or shrimp. Loaded with cheese a delicious sauce and veggies including cactus which reminds me of a green pepper with a bite. Chicken chimichunga, so good it’s perfectly fried to a golden brown the chicken inside is so juicy, topped with sour cream, guacamole and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. Served with rice and beans simple but duo delicious. They also serve seafood and I love the tostada de ceviche. The only downside is that the service can be great one day and terrible on the next visit but you’re really going for the good which is always good.
