No. No. No. I’m sorry. This was horrible. I had fettuccine with Alfredo. Alfredo lacked taste and the sauce was gummy. It is sad when I need to continuously add salt. Still that did not help. I love pasta but what I had was sorry to say, extremely yuck. Perhaps that’s something I should not have ordered. Can’t say that I will return

Being a student at UCA, I have the opportunity to frequent this restaurant and so do many of the other students. Speaking for them and myself, this place is just a staple for us all. Classic American that is just consistently good. The milkshakes are very good. The burgers are good. Beware of the mozzarella sticks. They do have the potential to give you heart problems with a massive smile on your face. Fries are great. It has a nice family atmosphere. It is just good. No other way to put it.

Best stop going to or from Spokane. Not a chain restaurant!!! Hearty home cooked food at average price, where else can you get that?! They also have a back room for large parties and also a pretty cool looking saloon to fit in with the western theme.

Mary and I had breakfast here on our way out to Palouse falls; quaint establishment, friendly staff, slow service, below average food. Mary’s crêpe was cold, my chicken fried stake was only ok.

Excellent family style restaurant. Everything is great and you can get the breakfast burrito any time. The bartender Nicole is great.

How in the world I have driven by this restaurant for so many years without stopping for a bite is amazing. Every time we go by I tell my wife I’d like to stop there sometime. Well, that day finally arrived. On a cycle outing in the Palouse with a friend and it was lunch time as we passed through Spangle. I usually rank my diner experience for comparison sake on the Chicken Fried Steak. So even though a bit heavy for lunch that is what I ordered. The meal came with soup/salad, corn, garlic bread, mashed potatoes, and the chicken fried steak. The salad was a standard sized side salad with a healthy amount of dressing. The bread was the nice thick slices that were nicely seasoned and buttered. The corn was nice and hot as were the mashed potatoes. The taters were also smothered in some excellent country gravy. The chicken fried steak was nice and thick and breaded perfectly. No chewy bits in this one. It was the best local chicken fried steak I’ve eaten. The waitstaff were very friendly as well and didn’t have any issues with us hanging out for a spell to chat. So from now on we’ll be stopping here as it is too good to pass up. Small town diner at its finest.

This place was recommended to me for breakfast by a 91 year old. He knew his stuff! He said that the Harvester would be great for a large group to go for breakfast. The portions were HUGE, the hot cocoa looked AMAZING. The food was great. Spangle obviously only needs one restaurant. We had a group of 18 and we were all served at once, never had an empty glass of water, the coffees were always being refilled and hot the entire time.

This is typical diner fare. Service is great even if you’re not a «local» they treat you like a family guest. Usually cookies at the door for a quick chocolate fix.

This is a small town restaurant. If you go here, order the Santa Fe Chicken. It’s OUTOFTHISWORLD for a small town restaurant. The food is so good. Doesn’t have that«small town» taste. According to the menu, the Santa Fe Chicken was a «new» item. I asked the food server how«new» it was. The food server said, «it’s been on the menu a year, but people are now just noticing…» This is a small town restaurant where lots of locals come. So, if you aren’t a local, you may… get temporarily ignored while the food servers notice a local and do the«Hi, how are you, how’s Fred’s lumbago?» thing. The food server asked if I was ready to order, I still needed more time to see the entire menu. She said, «Let me know when you are ready.» Well, I thought it would be tacky to just yell out, «OK, READY!» so I tried to do the subtle thing of holding the menu in the air, still took about four minutes to notice me between all the«how’s Fred’s lumbago» stuff. Oh well, small town, what can you say? The salad was bigger than I’ve seen at other restaurants. But, like other restaurants, it was 95% lettuce, and a few carrots and a few pieces of red cabbage with dressing. Not even a tomato! The menu had a picture of the chicken shown with steamed green beans. I didn’t get that, I got corn. The corn was delicious, but I thought it was a bit much to have corn when rice was under the chicken. But it was delicious! Plenty of room to park an RV even with a toad! If the parking lot is full, maybe you can park the RV in the empty gravel lot across the street… Good food for a small town!

Second time being here. The first was for a wedding rehearsal luncheon. Today I ordered fish & chips and I was quite pleased with it. Came with a side of coleslaw & fries for about $ 12.00. I’m not a fish a chips expert but I have had fish & chips from Seattle, all the way up north in Michigan, Miami & Orlando and Harvesters fish and chips did not disappoint. I have had fish & chips a number of times from other places in Spokane and my experience has always been poor except this one. Waited on very kindly & restaurant atmosphere is very chill and western-vintage-esque

Hey, I don’t want to give them 5 stars… it might go to their heads! No really, this place is just down the road from my house and I have been here off and on over the past, well a very long time, and the food has always been delicious. The girls here are friendly, something that is not always the case with servers! As for me it is my go to place for breakfast on the weekends, right before I head out on the scooter! Enjoy!

Very good food, especially the Maui burger. I hope that never disappears from the menu. I highly recommend ordering the coke and chocolate soda, it’s like a fizzy iced chocolate milk!

Yes, my family and I are fans but I have to say when we ate there on Friday night for dinner I wouldn’t have given this place two stars. The cook got orders wrong and the au jus was way salty. I couldn’t even use it. But, breakfast on Sunday morning was fantastic!

Do you like quality food with portions as big as your head? Do you like being pleasantly surprised when the check arrives? If so, look for the neon sign that beckons you off 195 to this killer spot. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can’t go wrong at the Harvester. For a great time, try sitting in the bar on a Friday or Saturday night. Half the town will be keeping you company, the drinks will be strong and the service will be jolly! If I lived in Spokane, I would make this a culinary tradition.

Amazing nachos! Probably the best I’ve eaten before. And the huckleberry milkshake with real huckleberries in it was delicious! Way exceeded my expectations! I definitely look forward to returning to this quaint, yet amazing little restaurant in Spangle.

I pretty much agree with Charleen. Things apparently haven’t changed in the past few years. Stopped in on my way from Pullman to the Spokane airport. I had constantly passed the building in the distance with the giant letters spelling RESTAURANT on it’s roof. But not today. Today I stopped. The menu is pretty traditional country cooking. Country fried chicken, stews, soups, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, you get the picture. The restaurant is bigger than you’d expect given it’s location. It must be the only one in town, because it seems like the entire town of Spangle could fit inside. The prices are a bit higher than you’d expect, but you do get a good amount of food for your money. I ordered a French dip sandwich at the recommendation of the waitress. I wouldn’t say there was anything special about it, I mean what can you do with a french dip? But it was very, very good. I didn’t see bread pudding on the menu or I would probably have gotten some. The only dessert I noticed was Cyrus O’Leary pie, which I can get at Safeway. Overall, worth the stop. I’ll probably be a regular, when on my way to the airport.
