I just got back from my second trip to the Farmers Market and I’m so compelled to write my praises for Sheila and this homegrown market. Even though this is only my second visit I was greeted by first name and given a wonderful sample of her tray of black sunflower seed sprouts — something I’ll definitely be adding to my salads and juices in the future. Being new to juicing and shopping at a local market for produce, Sheila welcomed me with open arms and her expertise and advice! This market really exemplifies what a local market should be about — community, fair prices, and quality organic local produce. I look forward to all my future weekly visits to take some time chatting with my new friend and stocking up on fresh and tasty produce!

Sheila is right there for you and will even make you try some special stuff she has there(if you are nice enough)! They had some nice and fresh seafood for a very reasonable price!!! This place is great!! I recently got into the locally grown and organic scene, so ive been going to every farmers market and local farm i can find. Its amazing how crappy and even deceptive some of these place are! Finding Southwest Ranches was such a relief! They have a great selection of products and Sheila is super friendly and informative. Besides the great produce you can get raw milk, eggs and raw cheese which are hard to find in many places and on the weekends fresh fish! One of my favorite things besides many items being grown on the farm itself is you dont have to wait till the weekend! They are open everyday but thursday! If you’re into local and organic you need to check this place out!

I have been coming to this market for almost a month now. There’s always a nice assortment of fruits and veggies. I am always happy with all of the produce I buy, and it never goes to waste. We always eat every bit of it! One of my favorite things about this market is they offer raw goat and cow products. We are in love with the raw cow’s milk. Sometimes they run out. One time they only had gallons available(I normally buy a half). I was hesitant to buy it, but had heard it could be frozen. I brought it home and froze half right away. When I was ready to thaw, I just shook it up and I would never have known it was frozen. I look forward to coming to this market every week :)

I’m so glad I found this place! Really lovely vegetables and fruit, and with prices that really won’t break the bank. Lots of produce, almost all organic. Red tomatoes, «blue» eggs. They also sell salsa, baba ghanoush, local honey, raw goats milk, yogurt, etc. I’ll be back.

I absolutely love this market! The produce is always fresh, the staff, Sheila, always has a smile on her face and is eager to share very good information about the food you’re buying. Most of the produce is organic, and at a very good price. My favorite are the blue eggs! sooooo much flavor! Also, try a shot of wheatgrass, she makes them splendid!!! This is a small but great place to do your produce groceries. Support your local markets!

This place is very quaint and I really want to like it because they are super friendly and go out of there way to help you find anything you need. I’d really give it a 3.5 if I could. I found some of their items to be questionable as far as being grown locally. I needed ripe tomatoes and they ran to get me some from the back. They were cold from the refrigerator and didn’t smell like fresh tomatoes at all. Nevertheless I bought them because of the effort involved in retrieving them. I bought some of their farm fresh eggs. $ 5.00 a dozen is average for farm raised and these had blue eggs mixed with brown eggs. The blue had a considerably richer yolk than the brown eggs. The salsa was good so I bought some of that as well. Next time I will ask what specifically is grown locally.

I’m pretty sure this place has the best raw goats milk cream cheese I’ve ever tasted. The produce here is always fresh and affordable.

I look forward to going here every Saturday. I originally found about this place looking for a spot to buy wheat grass. Upon going in «Sheila» was very friendly and social. She makes it a point to remember all her customers by name which makes you feel important. There is always a nice variety of different fruits and vegetable. I often go in and see Fruits I have no idea what they are and purchase them to try. However Sheila is great at stuffing you full of fresh cut samples especially if you have not tried something before. The people(other customers) I meet there are friendly as well and all seem to enjoy going here. It seems she gets a lot of her fruits and veggies from local organic farmers. If you are looking for a friendly non-commercial or mainstream market than I recommend checking this place out. They also grow a lot of their own stuff on premises which I even got a nice tour of. Also Sheila makes a mean Salsa!!! You must try it! Dog friendly place as well!

Best Eggs Ive ever had! loved cashew peanut butter. But, once I saw the big huge Lemons the size of soft balls with warts on them for 3 weeks the same lemons. I cut this place off. Its a Farmers market with local goods and that is for sure but, I dont like liars and those lemons were not ORGANIC. and one time she sold me Publix Eggs that I hope was organic that were nothing like the fresh ones for 6 dollars I couldve bought those at publix for $ 4.25.

A mom and pop establishment with very knowledgeable and happy owners. They get five stars from me just especially because they make each person shopping there feel quite welcome. Clean and organized and great for the person wanting to support a good local business.
