Really a 3.5! I’m on the hunt for this peony that I saw in someone’s yard and then again at Fiddler’s Green. The Hostess who put out the peony said that she found it at Islandscaping. Yes… so beautiful. I must have it. A Peony of all yellow stamen just puffed together in a big ball in the center with one layer of red petals circling this pom pom of fluff. So I went to Islandscaping. Peonies run from 20 – 50 dollars. This is very reasonably priced to the point of me thinking about sneaking on one of the more expensive Peony trees onto the plane. Then on second thought, if it wasn’t this rare beauty that I wanted to find, then there is no point in that extra toil. So I never found the peony I wanted. There was coffee in the back for a dollar in case you needed your morning fix. On a side story, one of the staff saved a baby bird from a fallen tree and placed it in one of the tubs of bushes. It was so cute and naughty(it would jump out of the nest she put there and run all over asking for buyers to STOMP him!) They named him Spruce(after the tree he fell from) and fed him by hand with the worms they found under the flower pots. So cute. Whenever you got close to Spruce, he opened up his big beak and waited for it to be filled with a worm. These people have so much heart.
