Phenomenal experience, both the men’s and women’s stores in the Square. Roy is knowledgable on trends, classic fits, cuts, tailoring, and what works for what body type. He gives his opinion honestly and realizes that if you walk out of the store looking horrible it could reflect poorly on him as a stylist and business owner, regardless what size sale it was. We go here for dresses and suits as Roy makes it easy.

Zar is the place to go for fine clothes. I met Roy back when he worked at Hugo Boss in Northpark. He sent me a message a while back saying he was opening his own shop. I finally got a chance to go check it out in Town Square. The place is immaculate, his staff is extremely friendly, and everyone there knows what they are talking about when it comes to fashion.
I needed a new suit. Roy showed me a bunch of options, and gave his honest opinion. He will say that he loves a jacket, tells me to put it on, then says «oh, no. That doesn’t work on you.» I highly respect that. So we found a suit that was perfect for me, a few shirts, pocket squares, a tie, and 2 sport coats. I went a bit overboard.
When I got the suit and jackets back from the tailor (Cho’s, right across the street), I wasn’t too happy with them. Roy had Cho come over and we redid everything in Zar, with Roy instructing exactly what needed to be done. I got them back the second time, and I am 100% happy.
Roy is the bomb, Cho is a great tailor, and Zar is the place to go!

I recently discovered ZAR Clothier in Southlake. My son is graduating from A&M and is interviewing for a job in business. Roy was extremely helpful in helping him pick out a wonderful suit that was perfect for him. I loved the fact that he talked to my son about what he needed now and what could wait until later. He gave him a completely put together look. My son loved it and plans to go back when he has secured the job to complete his professional wardrobe. Thank you, Roy, for your personal touch! We will most definitely be back!

5 stars period. My primary go to for men’s clothing and much closer to where I live. Great selection of Ted Baker products and one of a kind sport jackets. Roy is simply spectacular at forming a wardrobe that fits you. The only problem with ZAR is I cannot get out of the place without buying something. I’m hooked.

Southlake finally has a men’s store that can compete with Dallas’ best. Roy is extremely helpful and knowledgable, and will help anyone find what they are looking for.
I highly recommend checking this place out — it will be replacing trips to Northpark for me.
