Tangles & Co

I love Tangles & Co. It is always fresh, clean and friendly. Each stylists has her own room; very private and personal. Yet all the stylists are friendly, outgoing and professional. I have recommended it to many friends and family. They now claim it as their own. I highly recommend it!

I love this place. I have been going for 13 years — since it was on Davis Blvd. Spotless, wonderful stylists, great vibe. I love that it is a Suite Salon so it’s not noisy.
Nicola Kellogg is my stylist — and the new owner too! If she wasn’t in town I would feel comfortable having any stylist take care of me.

I love Tangles salon!!! The best color, cut and style and I’m super picky! They use top of the line products that I use at home as well. Very nice, upscale yet friendly! I highly recommend!!!

I initially wrote a glowing review for this place, but after the experience my friend had (who I accompanied), I have to say something.
My best friend called and made an appointment a few days before coming in for both her ex-​boyfriend and her back-​to-​back. The stylist (whose name I forget now) confirmed both over the phone.
When they got there, which was only 5 or 10 minutes early, the stylist was just starting someone’s highlights and we (my friend, her ex and myself) waited for about an hour for her to finally finish with that client.
When we finally got in to see her for my friend’s haircut, she said that my friend did not tell her about also cutting her ex’s hair, and so did not have room in the schedule for both. I have known my best friend for 8 years and I know she would never lie about making the appointments well in advance, so it was definitely the stylist’s mistake, but she was unapologetic and not at all conciliatory.
During the cut, the stylist made an ill-​founded and bigoted remark about gay people. She then gave my friend a temporary hair dye instead of a permanent one – my friend had requested a permanent one. We of course, found this out two days later when, after ONE wash, the dye was virtually completely gone).
