I am visiting from California and practice there. I brought my sister, who has never practiced, as walk ins for the hatha class. What a friendly and open place! There was a full class but our awesome instructor, sheri made us all feel like we were the only ones in the room. Great session! I’m glad we came in for the class and my sister is now a believer! Thanks, Sheri !

Just attended a Hatha evening Yoga class with Sheri and it was AMAZING! I’m a newbie so I was a little afraid but she pushed those who were advanced and assisted us newbies. I have back issues and the moves we did focused on the back, abs, legs :) it was such a great workout. Try her out, you’ll be thanking me.

I get on yoga kicks and only found this studio when searching for a prenatal yoga class in the area. I bought the Groupon so I could attend regular classes and then signed up for the prenatal series. I started with a gentle yoga class and was pleasantly surprised. The class was pretty full, but everyone was super welcoming and helped me with setup. I had my first prenatal class on Saturday and was excited when it was the same instructor. There’s 8 women in the series and the instructor made it a point for us to introduce ourselves and get to know one another. I feel sure I’ll buy a pass once I run out of Groupon classes!

I’ve been to a few yoga places in Keller/Southlake and Divine is by far the best! I have been going for almost a year and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. They have a variety of classes from relaxing and gentle to sweat and feel like you are gonna die hot yoga. The best part — no weird chanting or other creepy things that some places like to surprise you with :-)

I purchased the 10-session holiday special for $ 69. The first class I attended was a vinyasa flow with Jordan and it was unlike any other vinyasa class I’ve taken. It got me a little dewy, focused on form and had 1 – 3 minute holds and binds(extreme hip– and shoulder-openers). Note: do not be deterred by the building/exterior.

The studio doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s very nice and tranquil on the inside. I went to a «Gentle Yoga» class with Janette and had a wonderful, relaxing time. I’m sure it varies from instructor to instructor, but there was very little spiritual talk, which I enjoyed. I am excited to return soon and am especially looking forward to the«Slow Burn» class with Janette for a little more of a challenge. I got a 10 class groupon, which I think will prove to be a great deal, but I am not sure I will be able to return after that. Their monthly rates are a bit steep, and their drop-in fee of $ 17 is pretty high for me. If I end up liking it enough, hopefully I will be able to justify the cost!

I found this place through a groupon, and I hit the jackpot. Unpretentious and relaxed, the yogis know how to bring you back to yourself and challenge you all the same time. Exactly what this high strung and impatient person needs. Thank you!

I attended two workshops here one on mantras and meditation, the other on the Warrior poses. Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is restful; the décor makes it look like you are practicing yoga outside… lots of light-colored wood and bamboo. I started going here because my sister gave me a giftcard; I will most likely go back again on my own. I like the variety of classes they offer, even if a lot of them don’t fit into my schedule.

I have been going here since April 2011. I drove by this little studio a few 100 times, until a light came on. I signed up for the beginner class. I admit in the beginning it was tough, but I told myself; don’t give up. Over the past 3 years, I have gained so much strength, so much more self confidence, and I feel years younger. The instructors are awesome, they are friendly and very committed. I love this place. I found a lot of good friends. It is a very relaxed environment. You will enjoy.

I drove by this place nearly every day for years on my way to Bikram Yoga(which is also great if you enjoy getting naked, dehydrated, and exactly the same exact thing every single class). Bikram was totally doing it for me until one day I saw a Groupon and decided to check out Divine. My expectations were very low — after all, it’s in sort of an old strip mall center on the border of Southlake and Keller and it looks small from the outside. From the minute I stepped inside, I knew I had found a new yoga home. The feel of the environment… so peaceful; supportive of healthy lifestyles and introspection. You can tell the instructors live what they are teaching and are so very knowledgeable. Even the other students that have been drawn to the studio — so nice and unpretentious. They offer so many different styles of yoga on their varied schedule, so it is likely I can try every style. I hesitated to write a review because I know once people find this hidden treasure they won’t want to leave and the already full 75-minute classes will become«first come, first serve», especially when they offer in-house specials(class card 20 classes for $ 165 no expiration) that’s $ 8 a class! Oh well, guess I will get there early and enjoy the comfortable lounge area that connects their 2 yoga rooms and grab a book and some tea before class. After all, that’s what being a good Yogini is about — sharing and communing with the Divine.

If you’re a yogi living in the Keller or Southlake area, Divine Yoga Center is the best yoga studio around. Offering a wide variety of yoga styles to cater to a larger population, this center is popular for their vinyasa style classes that are offered during peak hours. A more vigorous and strengthening style, their classes will be challenging to all practitioners. With daily classes offered throughout the day, finding a class to suit your style should not be a problem. Classes are 75 min long and music is played in the background for those of us that don’t like a class sans music. Instructors pay attention to those who need more instruction by manually adjusting them into the correct position giving that extra expertise you expect from yoga studios. They even have prenatal yoga and other specialized styles. Rates are very reasonable and have significant discounts if you are a student(other discounts are also available).

Being at my parents for the holidays means stepping out of my comfort zone. I don’t have my 7 am spin class to attend, my trusty running buddies to motivate me, Body Flow at the Y every Wednesday, or my road bike to jump on for a long ride. So when I passed Divine Yoga coming back from the Keller ISD pool, I was excited to check it out. Since it was my first time to the studio I was able to buy an unlimited 10 day pass for $ 20. So far I’ve been able to attend both the Surya«Hot» Yoga and the Vinyasa classes. I enjoyed both immensely as they were both challenging and stimulating. Jana was a great instructor — no annoying yoga voice or yogi pretension going on. She was down to earth and friendly. Not to mention, she played some great tunes during class. More than your typical heavenly yoga instrumental mix, I heard some great reggae and soul. Divine Yoga Studio felt like a community yoga studio, offering a lounge area for their students, a great selection of teas, and even homemade treats. It was homey and genuine. The practice room is clean and peaceful and they even had mats for my wandering soul to borrow(but boy did it make me miss my Jade yoga mat more than ever). I hope to check out a few more classes before I head back to Florida.

If you are in the Colleyville, Keller, Southlake, Mid-cities area(Hurst Euless Bedford)… DIVINECENTEROFYOGA in Keller/Southlake is by far the BESTYOGA studio in the area. This studio has the most advanced teachers/owners around along with the nicest most passionate as well. It speaks volumes when the owners are actually instructors. They offer a wide variety of yoga along with a great saturday and sunday schedule which a few studios in the area are lacking. The instructors are constantly engaging in furthering their own practice as well as organizing Yoga retreats to places like Peru, Italy etc. If you haven’t been here and/or are new to yoga, I believe they are currently offering 10 days of yoga for $ 10 Perfect timing… Hope to see you on the mat soon!

Divine is a great place to do Yoga. They offer a wide variety of styles from your standard Vinyasa to Power to Hot classes. They have lots of knowledgable teachers. Newbies and Advanced yogis and yoginis will find classes they enjoy here. Maybe you like Yoga and you’ve practiced at Sunstone or at a group fitness class at the gym. If so you really owe it to yourself to head to Divine and see how much you can learn and grow at a real yoga studio. Divine Yoga is a good value too compared to the other alternatives in the area. Good instruction and longer 75 minute classes at a reasonable price.

I’ve crashed a lot of yoga studios, and to be honest, I didn’t have great expectations for Divine Yoga, but these ladies are awesome. The studio is clean, professional, and just a hint of the mystical. The instructors are passionate and committed. It wasn’t as ‘yuppie’ or ‘power-yoga’ as I thought it would be. The only semi-critical thing I can grab onto is that the mat I borrowed was a little on the stinky side – so BYOM.

I began practing yoga almost 10 years ago when there was only one little, bitty studio in the Keller/Southlake/Grapevine area. As we all know, this area has since boomed and now there are quite a few to choose from. Most of the gyms offer yoga(I taught at Larry North for 3 years) but I prefer the atmosphere of a studio. Fortunately for us, we have Divine Yoga Center, right at the crossroaods of Keller and Southlake. They offer a great variety of classes: gentle/pre-natal, Vinyasa, Yin, Power, Surya«hot» and beginner. Very unique to the studio is a class called«Adaptive Yoga for MS and other Physical Limitations». Not to leave our future yogis and yoginis behind, they offer a «Kid’s Yoga Camp» in July. Before entering the studio, you pass through a quiet, inviting waiting area complete with soft music, waterfall and plenty of yoga books and magazines to peruse. This is a great place to start calming your mind before class or to sit after class and let the calm sink in even more before you leave. There is a small kitchen area with a variety of «free» teas and fruit. When we are lucky, co-owner Gusti Ratliff brings in hot, heatlhy, homemade muffins to enjoy — after class, of course! There is one large studio and the classes tend to be well-attended, so I would suggest arriving at least a few minutes early. They also sell mats, yoga clothes and a few other«yogic» items. If you are new to yoga or a seasoned veteran, Divine has a class for you!
