I cannot say enough about this pralines, it cute, clean, staff is attentive and of course the icecream is wonderful. My kids LOVE coming here and they have the cutest outdoor seating area in the back for warmer weather. Our favorite icecream spot downtown!

Yum so good. A family favorite! Love the variety. Hate that there’s no chocolate soft serve. However it’s in walking distance which makes for some nice family time with an ice cold treat. Lemon pie ice cream is amazing… Highly recommend to those with a sweet tooth

Overrated. The ice cream is not as rich as you would think, and the flavors that have items mixed in (such as chocolate chips) have enough of the «mix-​in.» The only flavor I have found that I halfway like is the cookies and cream. If you have the time, head south in Rte. 10 to Sweet Claude’s in Cheshire. Now, THAT is gourmet ice cream!!!

I ordered a fudge cake for my daughters 13th birthday with ice cream flavors chosen by her.
They accidentally gave my cake away to another party (who ate it) one or two days prior to my party, and didn’t remake my cake. (I went to pick up my cake a few hours before her party.)
They offered me a smaller fudge cake, that tasted like it had been in their freezer for weeks with generic chocoalte and vanilla flavors. (That I had to pay full price for)
As a sorry, they gave me a pint of the two flavors she had originally asked for. But when I asked for kitkats to be added to the top of the cake, I think there may have been four small piceces thrown on top.
Extremely disappointed.

You can read other reviews praising their ice cream. All true. Also amazing donuts. But I save my highest praise for the comfortable atmosphere and friendly service (John). We were in the area today for a meeting that got postponed for 5 hours and needed a place to pass some of the time. Landed at Praline’s, where the coffee, donuts and comfort factor were all 5 stars!

If you’ve ever had good ice cream, this isn’t it. Minimal flavor, unpleasant aftertaste/​mouth-​feel. Definitely not worth the calories. Too bad; would love to support a small downtown business.
