Half Way Restaurant

I live right down the road from half way. The other day my boyfriend and I decided to walk there and eat. I haven’t ate there since I was a kid. It was a beautiful day. And when we got there the first thing my boyfriend said was «this is a cute place». It is! It gives you a warm feeling being in there. The people are so friendly and sweet. It’s funny because the one waitress asked me if I liked the foo fighters. I told her I did. And she began to tell me that Dave Grohl was sitting right where I was sitting a couple hours ago. She showed me pictures! Wish we could have walked there sooner. But overall it was still great (: I recommend the half way breakfast. That’s what we both got and it was yummy! Filled me up (: if you are passing by southington I’d def say stop there!

Happened upon this place in the rain after visiting Nelson Ledges. Quaint diner atmosphere that is Polish-​American. There were 6 of us and we were all happy with our lunch choices. I had the potato soup, it was hot and very yummy. Across the table we had bacon, thick and fresh cut, the best I ever had. Fresh and delicious home fries were a real treat for my husband. Their French fries are also fresh cut and fabulous. My daughter had a thick cut fish sandwich that she loved. 2 others were happy with their burger entrees. Our waitress was the sweetest we ever had. She made us feel right at home. Stop in here If you have a little time, it was such a treat for us.
