The very first time I came in was 10 minutes before close and in that time they made a lifelong customer out of me. I have been here several times and almost always last minute and they have the best selection and friendliest staff you can find. They never made me feel rushed or bad about coming in so close to closing like other places I’ve been.

This place has been a tradition all my life and the first florist/​nursery/​Xmas store that I remember going to. They have been in business since 1919 and have grown and changed so much thru the years. When I was young, they had an Xmas Grotto with animatronics and holiday scenes. As you made your way thru the darkness, you couldn’t control your excitement to see Santa. Santa was waiting on his throne at the end of the exhibit. You got a candy cane and a picture as you left.
Our last year in college, my sister and I sat on Santa’s lap for our last Santa picture… this year we watched the kids waiting for their turn to tell Santa what they wished for under the tree.
Fashions for trees are like people… so many things change over the years. Aluminum trees and feather trees give way to revolving trees stands and fiber optics. Lights are much more creative and theme trees are big. Christmas fairies and beer cans and garlands made of wine bottles help you personalize your tree. I personally love food theme trees, whether cotton candy pink and shiny or gingham and cookie cutters, it’s all cute to me!

Love this place. It is near my office, so anytime I need flowers for staff or anyone in the area, I stop in here. The staff is all extremely friendly, and service is quick and efficient. Also, I get coupons in the mail from them on a regular basis for $ 5 off or other deals. The store is huge, and besides flowers, they sell plants, outdoor floral stuff and other decorative candles and home stuff. Prices are kinda high on some things, but the place is convenient so I will continue shopping here.
