Kroger

This store allowed an unauthorized use of my credit card, keyed in, without the card present, and without verifying any i.d. When I called to get the charges reversed, I was on hold for over 20 minutes. No such thing as customer service there.

This kroger is the alternative grocery shop from the Lincoln Park one. It boasts great parking space and a spacious gas station. Plus it’s easy to get to, being it nestled on Eureeka between Fort and Trenton, it’s definitely right in the middle of the business strip.
We came to do some grocery shopping here, everything is laid out pretty nicely. Veggies look nice and fresh, the meats are always priced really nicely. I am a big fan of their BOGO meat sales from time to time. Although it might lack some things that they sell, I don’t really mind it since they are pretty much the 10 for $ 10 deal originator.
The staff here is very friendly and I am a very big fan of their olive bar. I’m a big martini drinker and blue cheese stuffed olives is the best way to garnish a dirty gin martini. Aside from all the great deals, they have the point system for their discounted gas which is always awesome.
I like shopping here, and it’s always a pleasure to get $ 0.10 off/​gal when you accumulate 100points.

I’d give this store negative stars if I could. I’ve never left a store more frustrated in my entire life. First who puts the beer that is on sale in the beer aisle? No one in the store and the cashier made me feel like I was a bother when my son was indesicive picking out gum. The milk was completely unstocked. I counted 15 employees yet I had to wait 8 minutes for directions to the bathroom because they were busy gossiping. The pharmacist was yelling at a younger employee like he was the poster child for an anti bullying campaign. The final straw was when I put my two cents in with the manager on the way out and his response was to tell me it was still better than shopping Meijers. If my son wasn’t with me I would have returned my entire cart and fine to Meijers.

Typical downriver trashy customers, carts are always scattered around the lot. Managers are extremely rude and disrespectful. Baggers never seem to be bagging and if they are they’re rude, even though I’m always respectful and nice to them. The only employees there that keep me shopping there are the select few very nice, HILARIOUS individuals behind the service desk. Stephanie, Annette, Sunny (I believe that’s how you spell it), and Bill. They always manage to put a smile on my face and make the trip there worth it. If it wasn’t for them and some decent coupons I’d never go back. PRO TIP: Bring Lysol ;)

Pretty good store… Service is good. Needs some updating, parking lot, new cart corrals, and update more of the facility.

This location is the one I can always find my hard to find items. Best one in the area because it’s clean. Only issue is they never clean out the bottle return you always have to go find someone at the customer service desk.

Probably the worst Kroger around. Idiotic managers, horrible produce & meats and dirty. And who is the jackass that moved everything around to different aisles that don’t make sense???
