If I could give a 0 I would. While doing yard work a nice guy offered to have someone give me «quick free quote» on my roof. I had Mr. Roof out last year and they quoted me $ 10K which was a little high but something I keep in mind. The sales guy came and was very nice, joking, walked around my home with me. Came inside and did this half our pitch about their company. Then showed me shingles and got on my roof. Then the fun started… He came in and said he has to see my attic because that needs to be completely re done, he can tell without seeing it. I told him I had my house inspected a year ago and have pictures of my attic it is fine and no you can’t go up there and I just want my quote. He said he needed 45 more minutes and I said no way its been over an hour and I still have no quote. We sat back down and he started again trying to sell the company, I said you have 5 min. to either give me a quote or not because I have to go. He said I needed all new vents which is about $ 6K, attic needs to be redone $ 4K, and then the kicker, almost $ 18K for the roof. I laughed as he continued to tell me I was lied to with my inspection. I said had I known this would take this long for something that could take 15 min. is ridiculous. I think I said I had to go 5 times and he finally said I don’t mind starting my Saturday early… I said I think you should. LOL this was a JOKE and the price is out of this world! If you have money and time to blow this is your company! **Update** Not they keep calling me!!! STAYAWAYFROMTHESESCAMARTIST!

It took 4 hours for a quote. He would not take no for an answer. They were our first estimate on a new roof. I got 2 other quotes and the closest one was $ 18,000 cheaper than Power. WOW, no wonder they wanted me to sign before they left. Don’t let them in the door, they won’t leave. It was exhausting to sit through!

Had someone knock on my door at 830 on a Monday night. Said that they were giving quotes for Windows. He asked me if I’d like a free quote. I said yes. He called his company, Power, he gave the phone to me, the person on the phone said I was all set for Wednesday morning at 10am, the time I requested. Said someone would call me an hour before they were to show up. Well it’s 1030am on Wednesday and what a surprise, no one called or showed up. I love it, all these companies beg for business, yet they have no common sense on how to get it. Wtf? If this is any indication as to how your company runs, no thanks. I’ll stick with Wallside for my windows

Power Home Improvement did a great job. Sam was our salesman and we really were impressed with his honesty and integrity. He also went up in the rafters to take pictures and spent a lot of time with us. He let us know right away that the total cost would not be the lowest but you have to realize you get what you pay for and Power gives good quality. We are really happy with the roof, it is Biscayne Blue. So we recommend these guys. They seem to really care about your service. Yay! Oh also Aaron is actually a quality control dude. Great guy!

This company does good follow-up! My roof was installed 3 months ago. In the very beginning, I was annoyed at answering the same questions about my viability as a prospective customer to, first, the guy canvassing my neighborhood on foot, then to the scheduler for sales rep, then to, I believe, the scheduler’s supervisor. But I needed a new roof so I hung in there. Yes their roof quote was higher, but my sales rep spent time explaining everything to me whereas the other, previous estimators didn’t explain anything to me. Plus I got a 50-year, non-pro-rated roof. The roofing crew was great(although I should have protected my new shrubs). The gutter guy was smart and I love where he placed my new gutters, but his helper could have placed a higher angle on the lower elbow joints. The PHRG gutter quote was actually lower. The radiant-barrier guys were uncouth,(sorry), but did a good job. I’m glad I got the radiant barrier; but I think I was overloaded with roofing info when I made that decision because I thought the radiant barrier would insulate, and it doesn’t. Also I should have gotten other quotes for radiant barrier. Once all the work was done, I had a few concerns so I had the field supervisor come back and he answered my concerns. All-in-all, I’ve enjoyed working with this company. The back-office people also took good care of me.
