Got breakfast here the other day. I am really glad I stopped eating the sausage McMuffin with egg before I chipped a tooth. The muffin was cooked so much I could have fixed my driveway with it. The sausage patty looked like it had come straight out of the Chernobyl reactor. I threw almost half the sandwich away. The hash browns were dismal and fell apart. There was no napkin in the bag and when I tapped on the window to ask for one, I got the attitude of «why are you bothering me/» I won’t be going here ever again.

This is the only McDonalds I’ve ever seen that allows the whole staff to wear earbuds(personal music devices for the slow folks). Even the cashier in the drive thru taking your order is listening to music. While high! The drive thru window smells like fries and weed. It’s not clean inside, bugs fly around the kitchen like its a ally. I’m good.

It is so gross. Food was cold, iced tea tasted old and moldy(and it was being the sticky gross counter). Every table. Literally EVERYTABLE had food containers or napkins or something gross. My feet stuck to the floor. The food is the food, but get drive thru and skip the tea.

The bathrooms here were utterly horrific. We stopped in to the use facilities before we ordered and were so disgusted we left immediately. The women’s was the worst bathroom I’ve ever experienced, and I decided to just hold it. My partner suffers from Crohn’s and did not have the luxury to wait. He ended up having clean urine and feces with a giant wad of toilet paper in the men’s room while trying to avoid the giant pool of urine on the floor. As you might imagine, neither one of us was hungry after that.

It is a crying shame that McDonald’s is losing so much market share to all of it’s many competitors. But based on my experience today at this location, I can see why MickeyD’s is in so much trouble. I came in to have breakfast. I ordered a meal combo. The posted price was there for all to see. The counter person told me the total and I just paid it. Then she gave me a cup for a soft drink. But I didn’t order a soft drink. I ordered the standard breakfast which includes a coffee, and that was what I wanted. So I let the counter person know that I didn’t want, nor did I order a soft drink and that I wanted a coffee. She took back the soft drink cup and gave me a coffee. Then she handed me the receipt. I noticed that the receipt, that I had already paid for, showed an up charge for the soft drink. This should be easy to fix, right? So I asked her to please just process the refund and I sat down to eat my breakfast. That is when all went south. The counter person came to the table and told me that her manager had decided that since I had been given a medium coffee, I was not entitled to my refund. I reminded the server that I did not order any particular sized coffee. I just asked for the combo meal and that McDonald’s could have given me any sized coffee they wanted, I just ordered the combo meal. The server, who was very pleasant and professional, didn’t know what to do. So she appropriately asked me if I could speak with her manager. I agreed and walked back up to the counter. As pleasant as the server was, her manager was the polar opposite. I found the manager to be blatantly rude. The manager loudly defended her defiant position and did so in front of many customers. I attempted to explain what had happened, but she would have none of that. Evidently at this McDonald’s, the manager is always right and never the customer. When it became clear to me that I could not reason with this woman, I asked her if she recognized that I was going to report this unfortunate incident to McDonald’s. Only then, she defiantly re-rang the order and thrust some change at me and stormed away. What could have been a simple discourse was turned into WWIII by a manager with no common sense. And the rest of the customers at the counter got an ear full at the same time. It is a shame that McDonald’s is losing so much market share, but this McDonald’s has a manager that seems to want to chase customers out the door. I am glad to be able to Unilocal about my experience.

Horrible service, went last Saturday for a quick breakfast and it took unnecessarily long, staff is not focused, long lines, unorganized. Don’t waste your time!

How long do you have? Sunday night drive thru at 7pm takes 20 minutes so plan for it when considering«fast food». When I finally get to the front of the line the lady asks me «what did you have?» This is after I already ordered it and paid for it, so the third time I’ve talk to them. I told her what I had and then she gave me the food, so being skeptical I checked it and of course the order was wrong. Instead of correcting the order she asked me for my receipt as if I was the one in error. After she checked it, she had to review it with her manager. Then she gave me the correct food. This should not be a timely or difficult venture however since it was I won’t be returning back. When I got home, my son was awaiting the Pokemon toy I asked for, only to find they got it wrong and gave him the build a bear toy instead.

If you enter this McDonald’s with the lowest expectations, you are still bound to be disappointed. The staff is unfriendly and incompetent, there is no consistency when it comes to the food and drinks they serve(a cheeseburger will either have no pickles or too many, an iced coffee is either sickeningly sweet or bitter, etc.), the tables are dirty and the McFlurry machine is ALWAYS broken. If you can avoid going to this location — then avoid it. The odds are against you.

Terrible! Ordered a Big Mac. They gave me a Filet of Fish in a Big Mac box. Plus they don’t have ketchup in the dining room(dispensers all empty) and dole out packets one by one if you try to get it at the counter.

I spent a couple months in a hotel about a block away from this location and I can tell you, they have never once gotten my order correct. I’ve even gone through a couple times to get a «large half cut iced tea» and THAT has never even been correct. the first time I came here I stood in the lobby and waited around ten minutes for a tea, there was one customer in front of me and she literally had to ask why it was so dirty inside.(the manager pulled a towel off her shoulder and said«I know» then walked away). another time I went into the lobby and stood there for five minutes without being acknowledged. so-help-me-God, five minutes! the only other person in the dining room was being interviewed by a manager who saw me turn around and walk out without blinking an eye. the absolute worst McDonald’s and possibly the worst business I’ve ever been to, after numerous tries– never again. the entire staff, management and all needs to be replaced. how a restaurant runs like this is beyond comprehension. if only zero stars were an option.

The cheeseburger was not as good as even a month ago. Had to ask for tomatoes with the side salads. The service was barely nice and impersonal. The food quality and service is inconsistent.

This is the worst McDonald’s ever. I only go there because it is on my way to work. But, today is my last visit. I pull up to the window to pick up my breakfast and the girl at the window shoves my Diet Coke out the window, then turns her back to me. She comes back and says, you have to pull up and wait for your food. I said, «Why? There is no one behind me or in the line.» She responds, «I have to keep the line moving.» I once again said, «There is no line.» I pull up and wait and wait and wait. She comes out and almost throws the bag of food at me and doesn’t say a word. When I get to work, which is 5 minutes away, I open my bag of food and my Sausage Burritos are ice cold. Never again.

terrible service, slow and incompetent employees, not much else to say. beyond irritating to deal with people that barely comprehend the simple tasks they’re charged with. i know this is a fast food you get what you pay for sort of situation, but it was so insufferable, that maybe just possibly the regional or corporate managers will read these like minded reviews and make the right decision to bulldoze this place.

This is the very worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. When I pulled up, there were at least 30 cars in drive through. Ok, no problem. I will go in. Find a place to park and go in to see at least 50 people in the restaurant. In the 30 minutes I was waiting in line, no one and I mean no one left with food. Several people brought food back to the counter. Finally get up to the front of the line only to be told that the register isn’t working and everything is ringing up as a refund. Enough was enough. I couldn’t waste any more of my lunch time listening to people yell about waiting for cheeseburgers. I had parked near the drive through and when I left, the car that was in the front of the drive through when I arrived was still there. The lady asked me how crazy it was inside and said that she was waiting all that time for a caramel sundae. If it wasn’t so close to my job, honestly I would never ever go to this McDonalds again. I understand that they were busy. but this is McDonalds, not fine dining. The staff spent more time wandering around in the back and through the lobby then anything else. The cashier and manager were pretty rude also. again, in that setting dealing with a bunch of angry people waiting an extended time for food. totally understandable about not being exactly pleasant but no reason to treat the customer as if they are there to do you a favor.

Against my better judgementI stopped throught the drive way at about 3:30 today. The line was ridiculously long and I should have just gotten out. I ordered a 4 piece nugget with hot mustard. My fault that I did not check the bag, but I got a 4 piece with tangy bbq. Seriously irritated. My one little order and they messed it up. Plus-no napkins.

Two stars because the owner responded appropriately and apologetically to my corporate complaint… But this story needs to be told. I pulled up to a PACKED drive-thru at 2AM. When I finally got up to the speaker, I said«I’ll take a number 10 large sized with a diet coke»(A simple order, right?) «10 Piece nuggets and a coke?» «No. A Number TEN with a DIET coke.» * I see her start adding a ten-piece nuggets onto the previous car’s order * «You know you still have the previous car’s order up, right?» «Oh. So that’s a ten-piece nuggets and a coke?» «NO. It’s a number 10 large sized with a diet coke.» * I see her put a #10 large sized with a coke on the screen * «That’s right, but please change the coke to a diet coke» «Yes, SIR»(Sarcastically) She doesn’t give me my total. She doesn’t tell me to pull around. I don’t see her change the drink on the screen. I pull around. Same lady at the window says, «You had the 10-piece nugget and the coke, right?» «You know, I gave you my order 4 times at the window, right? It was a number 10, large sized with a diet coke.» «Hold on» She closes the window, then puts her headset down, goes to the back room, gets her purse, and leaves. I mean, she LEAVES. Walks right out of the restaurant. Another woman comes to the window and says«$ 8.76, please» I didn’t see anyone change my order, so I asked«Could you please repeat my order?» «A number 10 with coke» «No. That’s a #10LARGE sized with a DIET coke.» «I’m sorry» She gives me my new total, I pay, look at the receipt, and it’s a #10 large sized with a coke. I get to the second window. The bullet-proof one. I motion to the guy«THAT’S A DIETCOKE, RIGHT? SHEPUTDOWNCOKE. IT’S SUPPOSEDTOBEDIET.» I’m pointing at my receipt. «Yes, it’s diet» he says I get my food and drink, pull away, put a straw in, and it’s coke. 35 minutes total, and I got a coke after ordering a diet SEVEN times. I looped around. The lady at the first window was apologetic. The guy at the second window had a medium drink waiting for me. I pointed at the cup, said it was a large. He put a different drink in the window, and I pulled away again. … It was orange soda mixed with diet coke… I’ve never been so mad in my entire life. I threw the drink on the ground in front of the front door to the restaurant and ate my cold food without a drink. I filed a complaint with corporate, and a very sweet woman called to apologize and assured me that«appropriate actions had been taken.» That earns a second star, but there’s NO way I’d ever even go near that McDonald’s again.

Dear McDonald’s drive thru employees, I am so sorry that I had the audacity to pull up to the drive thru and order a breakfast sandwich. I know you have better things to do. I know it’s too much to make eye contact and tell me how much money I owed, and it’s easier to just shove the money thing at me under your bulletproof window. I cannot imagine how inconvenient it was to prepare that Sausage McMuffin with Egg. I know you have better things to do at 9:30 am. I also apologize for asking for unsweetened ice tea when«it’s broken.» I’m not sure how the tea got broken, but it was my fault for asking. I’ll never do it again.

I try to eat McDonald’s as often as SuperPACs admit their $ 10 million donors, but sometimes the 10 minute window squashed between running lunch hour errands allows for starvation, a calorie loaded latte beverage, or a fake hamburger. I like to vary my evils, and occasionally McD’s does the trick. To its credit, this McDonald’s is right off of Northwestern Highway at one of the busiest Michigan lefts in the city as commuters take one look at the backup on the Lodge or 696 and turn back. There ought to be a sign saying«Lose all hope, ye who enter here.» Understandably, a bumper to bumper standstill of gridlocked cars is common during morning, lunch, and evening rush hour through the two drive-thru lanes. Gotta get that McCafe treat to brave the dangerous, wily roads of Southfield. Service is pretty slow at the best of times, and most patrons have no idea how to let the outside lane merge without losing a fender or dinging a paint job. Be forewarned; I never pick the outside lane because the trapped motorists who were fools enough to park their cars are never able to get out, and many people use the parking lot as a short cut to reach 12 Mile. The renovated building is actually quite nice inside for a fast food joint, usually clean and bereft of a legion of wailing demon children demanding French fries and the souls of the innocent. But for those of us condemned to drive-thru purgatory, the wait can be frustrating. Cashiers are quick and efficient, but the delivery window gets clogged up with orders during rush periods. I usually end up waiting on my drink, but they are especially prompt to get meals put together. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but their syrup ratios always seem off at this particular MickeyD’s, producing a very sour, acidic flavour of weak pop. Another weakness is the slapped together food. I know they’re in a rush but getting fries that are lukewarm and squashed into a container without care, and hamburgers or chicken sandwiches slopped together without actual ketchup or mustard — so a dry bun with meat — is a bit sad. My last trip this week ended in futility because their debit/credit machines went down. Understandable that it could happen, but the staff didn’t bother to make a sign to stick to the menu boards or dispatch an employee out to the very long line of cars waiting patiently to warn they were cash only. For many of us who rarely carry more than change, sitting there for 15 minutes to order only to find out they needed cash was really frustrating. Had I known I might’ve hit the Chase drive-thru ATM next door, but not after waiting under increasing levels of starvation. A lack of foresight on their part, alas! For getting in and out with a quick meal, it’ll do.

I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about. This is a great McDonald’s! Our drive through order taker was pleasant and bubbly. Our food was piping hot and fresh. Service was fast — as it should be! They even were able to honor my request to leave the yogurt out of my smoothie. A win all around here! Keep up the great work :-)
