THESEPEOPLEARETERRIBLE! I read the previous review and apparently, forgot to relay this message to my husband so when he told me he hired them I had my doubts but I was hoping that they would come through. I was very wrong. They burned us just like they burned the previous couple! I travel a lot and my husband and I had to move out of our apartment. We only had 1 day to do it. We figured that if we hired movers, we could get everything moved and out early and still have the rest of our day. My husband set every thing up. He said that the movers were scheduled to come between 12 – 2. Ok. That was fine but 2 o’clock rolled around and no movers. My husband called the office but it took them an hour to call him back to say that they would be there at 4. 4 o’clock rolled around and still no movers, the office staff were not answering the phone even though they were not supposed to close until 5. He tried calling the movers but they did not answer. We ended up renting a U-Haul and moving everything by ourselves. They finally showed up around 6:30, they saw us moving, looked at us and said«so you don’t need us… f*&k it, we out then». I was PISSED! That was completely disrespectful and negligent. If I were you, I’d go with Patriot moving company or another national company. I wouldn’t even suggest these people to my worst enemy.

I rarely take the time to praise and provide accolades but I am compelled to this time. We moved my parents from west bloomfield to southfield today. Lincoln and Alvin were on time, courteous, considerate and wonderful. They were great. This was one of the best moving experiences I have ever experienced. Let’s not forget the cost of the move was the most reasonable compared to any movers out there, including two men and truck. Don

I was helping my boyfriend move from Ferndale to Midtown(a 15 – 20 minute drive down Woodward) and we had no access to a large truck, plus moving large couches and furniture down the stairs of his upper flat would probably be too much of a hassle and require the help of multiple people so he figured it would be easiest to just hire a moving company. They could likely have completed the moving of 6 furniture pieces in 2 hours and be done with us. Easy enough, right? He made reservations with Cooper Moving and Storage from 2 – 4 pm, and made reservations with his new apartment to use the freight elevator from 2−5pm. Enough time for the movers to get everything loaded and unloaded into the new place. Around 1:15 they called to see if they could come early and he was in the shower so the call was missed. He called them back 20 minutes later to tell them yea, come whenever, and they said they’d be there in a bit because they wound up going to another client since we weren’t available early. 2:30 goes by and they’re not there. 3 comes and goes and they’re not there. Bf calls to see where they are and they say they’ll be there soon but they«gotta go, I can’t unload this person’s stuff and talk to you at the same time.» 3:30 and still no movers. 4 comes and goes and bf calls them back saying don’t bother because he can’t get the elevator later than 5 which is WHYHERESERVEDTHEMFROM2 – 4. Their response was«OK well I gotta call my main office and let them know.» That’s it. I know that a moving company may occasionally come late or early. And yes, had the phone been answered at 1:15 they would have came and moved everything instead of going to someone else. But for heaven’s sake, they couldn’t have sat around for a few minutes in order to make sure a paying customer is taken care of? Thankfully he didn’t have to be out THAT day and we decided to move early, otherwise he would have been sitting on the curb with his stuff while the new renter moved in. Cooper Moving and Storage fails at scheduling, hospitality and customer service. Don’t bother, even if the price is cheaper. You get far less than what you pay for.
