We got in last evening and ordered a few pies and some wings. Great stuff! The Monte Calvo is fantastic (white pizza with olive oil, cheese, tomato and garlic)! The wings are perfect! Crispy with sauce on the side! Even the pepperoni and cheese was great! Adults and kids alike left the table smiling!

Ordered the medium works pizza and garlic knots to go. The pizza was just ok I feel it could have been cooked a few minutes longer but the garlic knots where fantastic.

Monday afternoon in Duck and all the Pizza shops are closed so I schlep on down to Southern Shores to pick up a pizza. Frankly I was expecting just a so so pizza seeing the parking lot nearly empty and only 2 people in the shop. Once I got the pizza in the car I could smell a good pizza about 4 feet away. After getting back to the house the smell certainly equaled in taste. It might have been one of the best pizzas I’ve had in years. Good find!

Fantastic pizza! My kids and I absolutely loved their pepperoni pizza! I also had the chicken parmesan sandwich and it was delicious. The customer service was amazing! We’re staying in Duck for Spring Break and I know we will definitely go back for more pizza and sandwiches.

Best subs and pizza in Southern Shores and Duck. We’ve here several times over the last year during all of the seasons. The pizzas are made from fresh doh that is made in the store daily – old school and delicious. The subs are very tasty, large, and all ingredients are well prepared.

My family and I just had a great vacation in Corrola. On our way home I Unilocaled local restaurants and there were a lot of options but I chose Southern Shore Pizza and Deli because of its rating. I’m so happy that we did! The deli is located in a little shopping center with plenty of parking. When we entered we were warmly greeted by Colby. We had a party of 5, each of us getting a different meal, (I must have changed my order 3 times) and the two men were fast and patient with my group ages ranging from 2 – 71. Colby was great with my son inviting him to draw on the chalk board, and I loved the map that you could pin where your from! Now to the best part! The food was amazing, being from New York and living in Hawaii I don’t get to enjoy good deli and pizza very often, but I got my fix today! Thank you guys for the warm aloha feeling in North Carolina!!!

Today my husband and I went to southern shores pizza for the first time. We had a monte calvo pizza (olive oil glaze, Roma tomatoes, provolone, mozzarella, garlic) and it was DELICIOUS! I’m a big crust fan and I loved the crust on the pizza as well. The location was very clean (even saw a 100% sanitation rating from the North Carolina department of public health up I the wall.) The owner, Colby, was very friendly– he’s the one that suggested the monte calvo pizza, and boy are we glad we followed his suggestion! This place is top notch– great food, friendly people, and clean! Definitely will be coming back! My biggest regret is that we are from out of town– we asked if he’d meet us at the NC-​VA border to deliver us a pizza– so far no luck! ;)

Decided to get take out pizza for dinner. Had a large pepperoni pizza and an order of wings. The pizza was extremely good, same as the wings (got hot sauce and blue cheese with the wings).
The pizza was a bit greasy, but still really good. I would’ve posted pictures of the pizza, but all of it was eaten. It was that good.
Now the chicken wings. They were good, but pretty small for the asking price. Next time I don’t think we’ll order the wings.
Overall this pace is great. Took no time to get here, hot and fresh. Driver was extremely nice too. My rating says 4 but I would actually give them a 4.5 out of 5 if possible.

Awesome pizza! The best part about the pizza we had was the crust, which was the perfect combination of soft and crunchy. We ordered 2 large pizzas. One was all pepperoni and the other was all bacon with one side having mushrooms too. The only reason it’s getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because they skimped a little on the bacon and the toppings weren’t well distributed on the bacon/​mushroom pizza. But overall we recommend this pizza place; based on our experience we would highly recommend it.

Great local family owned pizza shop that has gluten free pizza. My gluten free pizza was great and my parents’ regular pizza was excellent. The staff was attentive and super friendly. We will definitely be back and have this be our go to OBX pizza place.

This is a new pizza place in town but it tastes like they have been doing for years! Every thing tasted amazing and was ready on time. Everyone who works there is super personable and seems to love what they are doing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
