Lily’s Nails

This was about the worst place I’ve ever been to get my nail done. I was there for almost two hours getting a manicure, and the results were just okay. I’ve also had way better service at almost every other salon I’ve ever been to. I would avoid them unless it’s convenient.

This place is super busy and most of the techs are great. Don’t go if you don’t have over an hour maybe two. The woman I had today was the worst I’ve ever had at Lilys. She was slow and would stop working to talk to co worker or just to be nosey. She skipped steps on my pedicure and when I spoke to her about it she said I didn’t need it. I don’t know if I will be back and I know I will refuse if she is my tech ever again.

I had a pretty good pedi here once. Lots of techs on duty so the wait wasn’t long, but I went a separate time for a set of nails and they did an awful job. When I tried to point out what was wrong, the tech took a major attitude and started going off to the other techs in their native language. I won’t be back. I agree with the other reviewer who said it’s way overpriced for the service and ambiance (or lack of).

I’m not sure what the rage is about this place. I was visiting Southaven and needed a quick mani/​pedi. That didn’t happen.
My mani/​pedi took 1 hour and 45 minutes and the results were only ok. Also, I thought it was overpriced for the service and atmosphere. For the amount of money paid, I expect the place to look appealing. This place is dingy. The walls are in desperate need of a paint job and the floor was dirty. I did see them cleaning the foot spas between people so I wasn’t too scared but I wouldn’t call them clean.
The man that did my nails was nice, however he stepped on my foot when we were at the manicure table because he wasn’t paying attention. He apologized but I couldn’t help but thinking that he should know people have their feet under the table. I quickly tucked my feet behind me so it wouldn’t happen again.
It’s been weeks now and I didn’t have any cleanliness issues so I guess it is clean enough but I won’t be back.

Lily’s nails is by far the best nail salon. They have phenomenal customer service and do a great job. They are priced the same as other nail salons in Southaven, but they do a much better job.
The only reason they lost a star is because of the wait. Don’t go if your in a hurry. It takes awhile, not because they are slow but because they are always do busy! If you’ve got the time, it’s definitely worth the wait
