Always consistenly good food. Prices are more than reasonable and an all around fun place to go. The bar for cocktails with friends or the dining room with the family. Always an enjoyable time. Highly recommend.

Great food and service. Huge menu. Generous alchohol in mixed drinks. All the chips you can eat. The fresh made quacamole made at your table is a must.

I had the opportunity to have dinner here with a number of my relatives last weekend. Let me grant that I am from Southern California so I have a different standard to go by for Mexican food… I’ll start by saying the restaurant is cute — the furniture is carved and painted with a Mexican theme(East coast style?). It’s very colorful and fun. Service was prompt and pleasant. They have a large menu and good selection of food. The chips and salsa(mild) were good. Some of my relatives got fajitas that looked quite good. Another got a fancy quesadilla and another chimichangas. I opted for taquitos. They were okay, but a bit bland and the filling was not what I am used to. They weren’t bad, they just weren’t what I’m used to. Overall, this was a nice place to grab dinner and I’d go back again.

I want to give this place 3.5 stars. Good, solid run of the mill Mexican food. The margs here are pretty good as well. Everything is super reasonably priced and the service is fast and friendly. I’ve ordered a few things that ended up being too greasy but overall been pretty happy with this place.

Wow this place has been awesome since the new young female manager took over. She is so good at her job and seems to be on top of everything. I think with good leadership you get better service. I noticed the tables are cleared immediately so the wait time to be seated is now shorter and the atmosphere just seems happier? She gets right in and helps with chips, drinks, cleaning plates. That was not how it used to be and although the food has always been great the service was hit or miss. I love any of the dishes with Mole on them and the pico de gallo is so healthy and fresh that I steal it off of everyone else’s plate in exchange for my cheese. The salsa is outstanding with just enough texture to not taste commercially prepared. I’m told it is made in house each day. The Happy Hour deals are good with strong cheap Margaritas and tasty tacos.

Wow Wow Wow! The food and service were absolutely amazing. The servings are huge and delivered by happy faces willing to put up with my sloppy Spanish. The Carnitas blew me away. I think I’m in love with this place. Seriously some of the best Mexican food I’ve had including in Texas and Mexico. Get the fried ice cream, I don’t care how stuffed you are. We shared one fried ice cream between 3 people and it was the perfect end to a great meal. My two dates had the Strawberry daiquiris(1 with alcohol, one without) they were fresh and delicious, just like the food at this new family treasure.

I’ve heard noting but good things and it didn’t disappoint, I had the frozen peach margarita which was strong and delicious, the house chips and salsa were a nice touch, As for my meal, I had the carne asada tacos with refried beans, the portions were large and the food was cooked perfectly, the menu could use a little more detail about what was inside the taco, I was surprised there was not cheese in my taco. The only criticism I have is the service, it was a pretty busy afternoon and it appeared that there was only one waiter working in a busy dining room, I felt bad for the poor guy. To sum it up, the food was good, the drink was great, the service was so-so and the prices were reasonable. I will absolutely be back.

This post gets 4 stars for the giant frozen margaritas you get for a very reasonable price. I’ve only been here once. The food I would get this post 3 stars. I ordered the tres amigos and the chicken was bland. Not a whole lot of flavor The house chips and salsa were tasty. My only other complaint about this place is that it was too hot inside and I ended up smelling like an onion when I left. The place reeked of onions when I went. Other than that, I will be back soon for the delicious frozen margaritas. Bottom line: good place for drinking. Get a big portion of food for the money you spend

The place is an awesome old mexican style setting. Service was quick and easy. The waiter talked just a tad too much but the service was still great. The salsa did not taste fresh. Entrees tasted really good. Margaritas are pretty good. Definitely will go back since it’s so close to home.

I have been coming to Las Margaritas for over 5 years! The margaritas are affordable and delicious. No other margarita compairs and I have been everywhere in the Bucks county and Philadelphia area for Mexican food/drinks. The food is always amazing and the portions are generous, I have never had a bad meal here. generous the atmosphere is amazing and the staff + owners are respectful and all around wonderful people Nicole is THE best bartender in the area. Can’t wait to go for Cinco de Mayo again this year. They make it an experience worth remembering and celebrating

This place is great for quantity more than quality. You get a lot of food, more bang for your buck. The food isn’t terrible but I’ve had better Mexican food but not around here so I settle for this. The margaritas aren’t as great as they should be as I assumed it should be their forte.

While it’s better than the chain Mexican restaurants, it hardly authentic. Just take a closed Italian restaurant, put in some stereotype Mexican décor banquets and voila. The mole sauce is bland with precooked chicken thrown it at the last minute barely absorbing the flavor. The tortillas served with it had dried out around the edges and were hard. They were probably in a warmer for hours if not days. The salsa was ok, but I’m guessing was food service(Sysco probably), not made in their kitchen. Given the lack of dining choices in the area, I’m sure this place will do just fine.

Quaint and quiet. Good strong drinks. I had a lime house margarita and a pomegranate on the rocks. Tasty drinks. Nice night out with the gals. Good service. Clean bathrooms. Awesome décor. They’re hiring!

Incredibly authentic Mexican food here. The chips and salsa are hot and fresh and the dishes are executed with tradition kept in mind. This place is definitely the real deal. The service is fast and friendly as well. My only complaint is that sometimes the dishes feel a bit lost – as if there is too much going on on one plate. Other than his small critique, Las Margaritas is a stellar restaurant and has the tastiest Mexican food in the area.

Awful! To the guy who said this place is authentic as it gets — you must be smoking crack. Either that or your previous Mexican food experiences consist solely of Taco Bell and supermarket taco kits.(I’ll be honest, Taco Bell on a good day is better than this place.) I lived in California for 8 years and this place would be out of business in a week within 500 miles of the South-West. It’s that bad. If you wanna go get drunk on cheap bottle mix margaritas with a bunch of people that never left the Philadelphia area(and the thick accents that go with it) this is the place. As for the food — it sucks. They put American whiz on their nachos. What more do I need to say? My father and I both had several items and they were all pretty bad. NEVER trust positive Mexican food reviewers from PA if you know any better. If you want great Mexican in the area, try Los Sarapes in Horsham. Even better is Cantina Dos Segundos in Northern Liberties. Hell, Baja Fresh is 10 times better. 2 stars because I got a nice buzz on — but even then I couldn’t eat the food. This is bad Mexican, plain and simple. Anyone with a good review must be on the pay-roll or never left PA.

Wow. I don’t even know where to start. Calling and asking about a wait, being told there was none only to arrive 10 minutes later and having to wait almost 40 minutes for a table? Or, the waiter who essentially forgot about our table in order to have an extended conversation with a table that he was clearly friends with? Or how about the pile of horrible food that was supposed to resemble a chimichanga? This place is the worst. I know PA has a severe lack of Mexican food, but this place is total garbage. Honestly. Nothing is good, and this location is worse than the northeast Philly location, because at least in the NE location the servers see it necessary to check your table once in a while. There’s not a chance I return, and if anyone I know mentions trying it I will immediately inform them to go to Taco Bell. Stay away.

I’ve had good and bad experiences here, but one thing remains constant; every time I go it is ridiculously hot! With the exception of the dead of winter, the heat seems to be on full blast, or more likely it’s that the kitchen heat seems to be taking over the dining room. Their platters are kind of a mixed bag. Their burritos, enchiladas and quesadillas are pretty good, very cheesy and nice portions. Other stuff seems a bit off, like their rice, which is lackluster, and their chile relleno, which is always overly soggy and just a mess. Prices are about average for Mexican around these parts, and their alcoholic beverages are decent but nothing extraordinary and overpriced as usual. In general I like this place, really. I like how the interior looks and get pretty good service every time. They just need to make the food a bit more consistent and do something about their heat problem.

Great themed Mexican restaurant… and very reasonably priced. Chips and salsa were fresh, my food tasted good(Though my tamale was dry)… and 6 people ate for under $ 60 for lunch, so I consider that a good deal. Plus, when we walked in the foyer smelled like root beer which was very pleasant, if odd. Would go back, esp for happy hour– they have a whole page of delicious-looking drinks to choose from!
