This place is false advertisement a true joke, I don’t know if it was a former employee of the original place on Oxford ave in Northeast, but the Margherita pizza was a sad. My girl and I ordered and drove a half an hour one way to pick up our order, the location was wrong on both of our Google maps, one sign we should have stayed away. Second sign, I didn’t see any italians working any stations in the kitchen. Third sign, I didn’t have to wait, due to the fact there was no other business, which can be bad. Margherita pizza from the original place is the best in the city, we’ve been looking for the better part of three years for something better, Johnny G’s being our bench mark to top. This ISNOT the original chefs or creators of the recipes, due to the fact they forgot one major ingredient, passion for food. If you have eaten here go to the new place on Rhawn it will give you the true Johnny G’s experience. Margherita pizza or Cheeseburger pizza(if it still on the menu) and the Hawaiian wings.

This is the second time we ordered out food from here and both times we were completely satisfied. The delivery was very prompt,(both nights were weekend nights), the food was hot, and very well packed. And also the delivery person was very polite. I will definitely keep ordering from here.

First of all, I will never go by GrubHub reviews again. This place is rated a 4.7 out of 5.0 on GrubHub, so I took a chance, hoping to find a new pizza place near me. My wife and I ordered a plain pizza, their«onion petals,» a chocolate chip cookie, and a piece of lemon cake. The pizza was literally the WORST pizza I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve eaten pizza all over the country. To be completely honest, it made Domino’s seem gourmet. 1) The crust tasted like it was frozen. It had that airy, crackery, crumbly texture. Definitely not a typical tossed style dough you’d expect. 2) The sauce was so sickly sweet and low quality. It tasted like someone just poured Ragu over a giant Ritz cracker. 3) The cheese was cheap and barely melted. It just sat on top of the Ragu covered Ritz cracker like a handful of pool noodles. Basically, this pizza was like a horrible version of school cafeteria pizza. I was so disappointed. The onion petals were pretty good. Imagine onion rings in the shape of thickly sliced pieces of onion — similar to Outback’s «blooming onion,» but not nearly as good. Nothing to write home about at all. Even the chocolate chip cookie wasn’t very good. My wife didn’t even eat more than two bites of it, and she’s a chocolate chip cookie nut. The lemon cake was actually really delicious. I’m so disappointed in the quality of this place. What I’m even more disgusted about is the inflated GrubHub reviews — which is why I’ll stick to Unilocal reviews from now on. I learned my lesson.

I’ve gone here twice in the past month. The first time, we ordered a large plain pizza, the second time we ordered a large white pizza. Both times, the pizza was delicious, ready when they told us it would be, and was presented by a friendly staff, including the owner. I will be back, and I hope that I don’t experience anything like the reviews below!

I really wanted to like this place since I actually live two minutes down buck road. The first time my husband and I went, we got some kind of Hawaiian pizza which was decent for the price. The second time we went, we got sandwiches which we neither of us really enjoyed. My husbands onions were not as carmalized as they should be and my sandwich was rather dry and tasteless. We decided just to stick to the pizza. Went back a third time and ordered just a plain pizza but it was more like a tomato pie. There wasn’t even enough cheese to cover the pizza. All the cheese was in the middle and the outter part of it was just sauce. Won’t be returning. Also, they use frozen dough, not fresh. I would rather be charged and extra few dollars and get fresh dough rather than pay less and get frozen. Wouldn’t fresh dough be more cost effective anyway?

I hate to dis a place where I haven’t tried the food, but that’s exactly why I’m doing this here. I went in to grab a slice around lunch time yesterday and was told they’d ran out of slices. Thinking this was a joke, right before I was about to say«Haha, yeah just a slice please.» the lady working there said, «No. We ran out.» Umm… you’re a pizza place. Make a pizza and cut it into slices. I still really want to try this place, and hopefully their pizza is good enough for me to delete this one star review. I just find it bizarre that during the lunch rush, and really any time of day, a pizza shop would ‘run out’ of slices. Huh.
