Food wasn’t bad, WHAT I GOTTOEATOFIT! Got up from table to go get my sweatshirt because the AC was cranked up and I was freezing and came back to table and EVERYTHINGWASGONE. No apology from the girl who took it away and left no trace of your food or drinks and we still had to pay full price for it. Not a good way to impress on my first visit. Can’t really review BECAUSE I DIDNTGETTOEATTHEMEAL I HADTOPAYFOR!

So, we went with my wife’s parents to burgers and beer. Walked in the door and went to the bathroom. The bathroom smells like death. Then the wait times: 35 minutes to be seated. I’m ok with this. honestly 10 minutes to see a server 1 hour to get our food 20 minutes for the check process and counting The food is just ok. The fries were cold and had no seasoning on them. The burgers were also not seasoned and over cooked. It’s almost like someone saw a cool burger concept in another city and thought I can do that. I only give in 1 extra star because they do have the feel of a burger place. Btw, I wrote the review and we are still waiting on someone to get the check.

This place was great. Lots a variable burger options, plus a good selection of vegetarian options. They were slammed busy when I visited on a Saturday night, but I thought it was ok b/c the ambience and company was good. Other guests didn’t seem to happy about the service that night — I like to think that they’re just cranky and maybe didn’t like talking to their friends. IDK. No tap beers, but the bottle selection was pretty solid.

What a hidden gem! I couldn’t believe it when my dad suggested I try this burger place in South Wilmington. I was wondering if a 30 minute drive through backroad was worth it but it absolutely was! The restaurant is beautiful on the inside with rustic décor and light. Extremely impressed. There were so many speciality burgers to choose from it was difficult to choose. I decided on a burger with grilled cheese as the buns. It was difficult to eat but such a fun concept. The fries also come in a small basket which is really cute. My boyfriend ordered the pulled pork which was very delicious and had just the right amount of sauce. Overall great experience and I will be back and recommending this restaurant to family and friends!

This place is great – we stopped in for a bite and were very impressed with what we’d found. From the outside it just looks like a typical bar/restaurant, but the inside is beautiful! They just opened but it appears that they are doing fairly well – there’s not much more around this area to go to quite frankly. So naturally we ordered burgers and beer — more specifically we ordered the ‘Hot Mess’ and it was perfect. Cooked to perfection and quite tasty. We had a minor issue with our fries and tots coming out a bit on the cold side – but they had no problem replacing them with fresh ones. We had a few different beers but the Coronado Orange Whit just about knocked my socks off. It has instantly appeared on my top 5 beers of all time list. Try it! The men’s bathroom could use a check every now and then – it looked like a bomb went off when I went in there, but otherwise we had a great experience here and we will most certainly be back for more.

Greatest selection of beer and quality burgers located basically in no man’s land. That said, if you’re traveling on I-55, this place needs to be on your short list for lunch and/or dinner. Is it Kuma’s? No. But what is?! What Burgers & Beer is, though, is a much-needed and very welcome addition to dining options for folks who are taking a scenic cruise on their bikes through Chicago’s southland. So whether you’re spending some time fishing the Kankakee, biking the I&M, hiking through Midewin or Goose Lake Prairie or any of the dozen other reasons you have to get out explore the southwestern exurbs, stop in here for some quality eats and suds. Things they can improve upon: * If you’re going to serve Duvel, you need to have goblets. Pint glasses won’t do and, no, I don’t want to drink it out of the bottle. * The tater tots would go from good to great if you added some truffle oil. * A bottle of(authentic, please) Sriracha belongs on every table. Otherwise, great job; we’ll be back… often!!!
