This DD has really made some changes and I can honestly say that the service is great and staff is great too! The line is still long at times(as is any DD in the morning) but the service has really improved for the better. Recently I had issues with my DD Perks card and the manager gave me my order on the house because they new the iPhone app was having issues. I later returned to pay and had to force them to take my money. Keep up the great work!

The only reason this gets one star is because I couldn’t give less than that. This place is a perfect example of how corporations license franchises and do not maintain quality control. Yesterday, at 5:15 pm, I walked in and requested the 25 cent medium coffee promotion since the Jets won on Sunday. I showed the young woman the promo on my phone app and said I would like to get a medium coffee. The woman behind the counter then proceeded to charge my card for a small coffee, which rang up as $ 1.84. I pointed out to her that the coffee should have been .25 cents, and that I wanted a medium size, to which she repeatedly said«no», which I understood to be a refusal of service. She kept saying she would give me a small coffee. I didn’t want that. She refused to acknowledge the promotion, and furthermore, probably didn’t understand what I was asking for. This person not only spoke unintelligible English, but was belligerent towards me because I didn’t understand her. There was a young fellow working there also who wasn’t much help either. Neither of them seemed capable of communicating in the English language. When I asked for the manager, the woman uttered a name but couldn’t tell me how to spell it, saying to come in the morning before 2 pm. The fact that there was no manager present was inexcusable. There was a woman on line who left and another woman who wanted the same promotion and wound up leaving too, without the coffee. I live close by to this Dunkin, but had to drive out of my way to another location to receive the promotion. The Dunkin Donuts corporation should be brought to task for opening franchises that are slip shod in operation, personnel, and customer experience.

The place is filthy — enough said. Why is it compulsory to add a star to post a review? No stars for you!

What can I say it’s your typical Dunkin donuts. That’s in itself should be an explanation enough for most. For those who haven’t been. Fortunate enough to experience, I’ll break it down. You are almost never greeted when you come in or get to the counter. You most of the time have to wait two minutes before ordering because the employees are speaking some foreign language to each other. And you will most definitely have to repeat your order at least twice before confirming. Dunkin is no good anyway, that’s why I don’t make a habit of getting anything, but when I do that’s how it goes down.

I tried to like this place, I did, but they aren’t working with me. Every single time I have gone in there my order and my friends orders have been messed up. It’s like they don’t convey the message or maybe they just didn’t understand. How hard is no whip? How simple is cream, no sugar? How hard can it be when the meal offers two options, and I choose one? I mean COMEON. I’m very sad this place is here, especially on a strip of mom-and-pop oldie shops where people actually get to know you and SMILE. If you want quality service at a Dunkin Donuts, go down to 9th street and 5th ave Dunkin, it’s worth the walk!

This location simply shouldn’t exist. In a city filled with millions of better donut and coffee choices, Dunki-do’s is just garbage. It’s especially irritating that this location is the only chain business on this entire strip of Prospect park west. I used to enjoy the family business, mom and pop vibe in my hood until this eyesore came along. Why oh why couldn’t we have gotten a Dough or a Doughnut plant?!

Other than when the owner is present, every time I’ve been here to pick up something on way to work the workers are slower than molasses. You’re better off going to Connecticut Muffin or Terrace Bagels for take out if you’re in a hurry. If you’ve got time and you want a sugar fix then Drunken Donuts has the only donut game in town(at least on the avenue).
