I’m really grateful for Tina’s help. I bought a wedding dress off craigslist and unfortunately it was too long and almost everyone (including other alteration places) I talked to told me: 1. it’s unlikely to have it shortened since it’s multilayered 2. Whole process is going to be really expensive 3. It’s going to take too much time– not going to make it in time for the wedding, which was due in 2 months.
Needless to say I freaked out, till I stopped by Tina’s shop one day. She’s been very helpful. Even though I didn’t make an appointment that day, she called in her seamstress right away and told me she would stop by within 30mins. Her seamstress wasn’t fazed by the task and took all the measurement swiftly. She told me it’s only going to take her 1 – 1.5 weeks and quote me $ 100. I was both surprised and skeptical the same time because it’s too good to be true? I decided to go forward anyway since I didn’t have any other choices. Even though I didn’t have enough cash to put down the 50% deposit, they were ok with it, which I really appreciate their generosity.
Upon receiving my dress, I’m truly impressed by their work. The length is right, the work is perfect, I can’t tell it had been altered. They delivered everything they promised and it’s a lifesaver. I really encourage anyone who’s looking to alter their dresses to check out their service. My experience with Tina is a pleasant one and I would definitely continue to use their service again.
PS. The only down side was I didn’t get any call from them telling me the dress was done so I had to call them to check on it. And I would encourage Tina to write a receipt even for deposits so she doesn’t get confused. I honestly don’t want to take off any stars due to these inconvenience, only because their services have been really awesome.

Came to Tina’s for our wedding favors. We picked an iridescent color. When we went to pick them up we found different colors of gold, silver and white. Apparently they ran out of the iridescent color but instead of calling us they decided to just take it upon themselves and throw in other colors. So we changed it to all silver which they had enough of. But the absolute kicker is when we filled out the paperwork of what was going to be said on the ribbon. They spelled my husbands name wrong. How can you spell it wrong when I wrote it correctly on the form?! NEVER go to Tina’s for your favors. They will mess your order up!

Talk about so many favors to choose from!!! I had favors done here for my sons baptism and they came out super cure. The staff was super friendly and offered suggestions and ideas. They were really inexpensive also! Had my order ready in 2 weeks which was a relief since his special day was coming up!
