The sandwiches here are amazing! Bread is fresh and let me tell you they don’t skimp on the meat. The place is clean and they have a variety of chips. The owner and his son run the place and they are both so pleasant and kind. If you are looking for a delicious sandwich with fresh ingredients come here! I promise you won’t be disappointed :-)

Great sandwiches and bagels as well as a fairly wide selection of drinks. The family behind the counter is super friendly and make you always feel welcome. I go there many times a week, the only downside would be the occasional wait if you’re in a rush.

Good lunch stop, quality sandwiches and lots of options for sides/drinks. Service is a little slow as there is usually only 1 guy making the subs.

Just had the Rancher!!! Omg! Turkey, thick bacon, avocado, american cheese and garlic pepper sauce on a soft sweet roll. Hubby ordered the Cali club on rye and it was superb. Ken was very nice and sociable. I highly recommend this place!

Great hole in the wall. Very big and delicious Sammies at a very fair price and made to order. Solid selection of drinks and chips and even ice cream. We will be back !!! If you are on the SSF area near the airport and Oyster Bay exit and have a BIG appetite, give these two guys a try ! I had the PORKER Sammie on Dutch crunch and it had pastrami, sausage and bacon on it ! Now I need Lipitor !!! Go there !!! You’ll thank me later…

I’ve had my fair share of sandwiches in my 31 years. Let me tell you, this place ranks among the best. I really enjoyed my turkey club on sliced white. My husband got a chicken sandwich on a roll. Both were super delicious. Fresh ingredients and just the right ratios of meat to cheese to produce to delicious. I highly recommend getting your next sandwich fix from them. Happy tummy.

I’ve been working nearby for the past two years and this is possibly the best sandwich place I’ve ever been to. Just look at the way they carry the sandwiches when they’re done preparing them. They handle them like precious jewels. You can tell they’ve been doing this for a long time.

Fast and friendly staff. The sandwich I got was huge. Didn’t expect it to be so big for the price. I was super full and happy off half the sandwich. I got the chicken club on dutch crunch. So amazing. I think it had 2 chicken breast filets in there. Totally recommend this place.

Unique, large-portioned sub sandwiches. You can really taste their unique garlic sauce. A great alternative to Subway for a similar price, but with greater value for your money. Limited seating inside for about 6 people in what essentially is a convenience store. Great for take-out.

How to start my review… It definitely has one of those hole in the whole restaurant feels that is only spread by the word of mouth. :) The outside of the place looks quite ordinary and a little old yet inside it is a mix of a deli store with a modern look. It has a nice proportion inside with plenty of walking room but it not quite ideal for sit and eatery with only 3 tables and two seat across each other. The pleasant feature that is easily over looked is the friendly atmosphere inside and the stores near by. Parking can be a bit challenging when it’s packed.(about 10 parking spaces or so near the store. Also depends on the hour of stopping by. [Got there at 4:45pm]). another great feature is he fresh smell of food near by. love it. Aha also available which looks promising is a barber place next door called Philgood cuts. I ordered the Rancher with everything(Dutch crutch bread) and got my father the Ultimate Meatball(Wheat bread). I haven’t gotten grab a bite yet cause I got some chores to do at my grandmas house. Aha I’ll stop by again there a second go to try this hidden gem revealed via Unilocal.happy lipstick day I mean :)

Someone bring them a Unilocal sticker for their window, seriously, their breakfast sandwiches are delicious, definitely a hidden gem in an established neighborhood.

I first came here and had a Porker, and it was bawmb! But I decided against posting about it, since how can you screw up a hot link, pastrami, and bacon sandwich? It’s impossible! The store would’ve closed before anyone got to it. So I came back again and got a Kenny G to share between me and my sis. Besides the bbq sauce — I’m not a fan of American bbq sauce in general. They are too dominating in taste– but everything else was excellent. My sister loved it as well. Since the Kenny G had bbq sauce, I didn’t think it’d be a good judge for the sandwiches there overall, but I didn’t really have a doubt. Not intended to mimic Beyonce. So I was back in two days… and got the Rancher. Yes, I know, I know, the Ranch dressing. Well, it didn’t disappoint. Went again with my cousin. He lived a couple blocks away but didn’t knew this place just because of how inconspicuous and quiet this stretch of the road is. And it quickly became his second favourite sandwich shop after little luccas. And it’s cheaper here too. sure, the sandwiches here are smaller, but can you finish a little luccas in one meal? We shared a pastrami and bacon, everything at his request. And it was still so good. Then I realized, bacon. Dammit, I’m going to need to come back again before I finish this review. It covered any faults that might’ve been in the sandwich– though there were probably no fault. But man, they don’t skimp on the bacon. I went back again, pastrami sandwich. No cheese. No bacon. Standard sauces. A little dry this time. But otherwise good. The jalapeño blend in just fine. Ok, fine, so this is the worst sandwich I’ve had here. I hope so, otherwise the cheese, bacon is all going to waste. This was still a solid sandwich, and a bargain at $ 4.75. Good luck finding any lunch or sandwich spot which sells the entrée for under five bucks.

Best sandwich of my life. I got the rancher, turkey, bacon, smoked Gouda, and avocado with everything. It was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. You can tell it’s made with love and attention to detail, from the fresh bread to the garlic sauce. High quality for sure

The storefront will scare ya but the food made inside will win ya. When you first enter you will think you are going into a mini mart or liquor store, but to your right you will notice two older guys whipping up sandwiches. We ordered a chicken and cheese piroshki and an ultimate meatball sandwich. Each was on point. You have your selection of breads from wheat rolls all the way to a Dutch crunch. The prices are very decent. My meatball sandwich was just $ 6.99! I was only able to eat half so that tells you how large the roll sandwiches are. Don’t be deceived by the storefront. Take a stroll inside and enjoy Mike and Ken’s deli. You will not be disappointed.

After hearing my coworkers rave about this place, I decided to tag along and see what it was all about. It’s one of those places you wouldn’t go into on your own unless it was for another reason or because you heard about it from someone else. The storefront is quite ordinary and at first glance looks like your average convenience store. I don’t know who Mike or Ken are, but according to other reviews they’re really the guys behind the counter! Service was nothing amazing, but they’re nice guys that do their job well. The sandwiches are where it’s at! The two guys ordered the Western, but I ordered my standby: turkey and avocado on Dutch Crunch, no mayo. They give you the option to eat in or for takeout. I ordered in and was presented with a ginormous sandwich on a wicker tray. The turkey was your typical lunch meat, but there was a hefty portion. The avocado was a nice helping smeared between the layers and the bread was slightly sweet, soft, but sturdy — none of that super crunchy bread that scrapes the roof of your mouth! At under $ 7, it’s a pretty good deal, considering you can’t get the same selection or quality of ingredients from Subway. Even comparing it against Darby Dan’s which is just down the street, I feel like Mike & Ken’s comes out the winner! If I can’t make it out to Little Lucca’s, or I don’t have time to wait in their giant line, it looks like Mike & Ken’s is a good option!
