I came across Arnold’s Bookbinding after my bookbinder said they could not start my order for another 6 – 8 weeks. I’ve never had them take so long, and that was not going to work for me, so I set out to find another bookbinder. I am so glad I did! Arnold is everything the other Unilocaler’s have mentioned. He has integrity, skill, patience, and an amazing work ethic. He helped me come up with a new and way better album for my clients. He made a few prototypes for me. We got it just right. I placed my initial order for 0 albums and he handmade them in a few days. It was amazing! He was showing me things he was working on, trying to come up with solutions for another client, as I saw on my project, he doesn’t give up or think something is impossible. He will find a way… he’s a very skilled bookbinder. I have a new bookbinder and love my albums and know my clients will too!

Arnold is a very honest, hard working guy. He helped me out with a very small project, when it probably wasn’t worth his time. I highly recommend him for his integrity.

Arnold has been doing this work for something like 40 years(so he is obviously very skilled) and he is still extremely enthusiastic about this work. I have a small(ish) job that I have literally been talking to him about for months. He has been nothing but helpful, patient, and kind. He has helped me come up with a design, let me look through all of his materials, and take some home to screen print on before the construction of my product. Plus, his workshop is so cool! It’s full of really old machines and you can just walk around and look at everything.

I brought Arnold several vintage books that were in terrible shape. Some had torn covers, others had loose pages and/or bad bindings, etc. As soon as I walked into Arnold’s shop, I could sense I was entering the domain of a serious craftsman. He has high quality vintage bookbinding equipment(which, by the way, is maintained by Arnold himself). Arnold loves what he does — and I could see by the way he examined my books and discussed my options that I could trust him to do a great job. I just picked up my restored books, and as I expected, they were beautifully done. Even though Arnold is a rare and gifted craftsman, his prices are modest. I know I will use his services in the future and highly recommend«Arnold’s Bookbinding»! Regards, Lyle B.
