I love this place. I have been coming here for years. I have tried different sub places, but no one compares to this place.

Love this place. Had heard about it for years just never stopped. Finally did about 6 – 8 months ago. Love it. It’s the same everytime. Consistently the same-Fresh. I am not usually into the softer bread subs but, it works. And I love it. Great job. Just a hole in the wall making the freshest subs

First time here and definitely coming back! These subs are the real deal! I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Meat quality is good but GREAT subs are all about the combination of meat and great bread and they have both! Crazy store hours but worth it!

Riddle me this, super subs that something dreams are made of at even better prices. I search high & low to find good sub, grinder, hoagie and sandwich shops. I guess the carnivore in me turns on my auto meat pilot when I’m within proximity of one. Here on Old Bridge turnpike on the boarder of South River & East Brunswick is a must stop for all conneseur’s of the sliced deli meat persuasion. The Super Sub stopped me dead in my carnage tracks. 7 different slices of meat with 2 different cheese’s slabbed a mile high with lettuce, tomatoes & onions between home made sub rolls. Almost impossible to get your mouth around it, but alas I managed said task valiantly. At around $ 11 for this colossal master piece, now that’s a bargain, baby. You’ll find all your sammich favs within these slight walls where barely 6 or so people may line up shoulder to shoulder. To go only, no seats. Fairly clean with little parking. Obviously a high turn over of product allows for fresh items daily, more meat coming and going through these doors then a peep show. So when on a meat mission head on over to this shop, you’ll leave happy, but you waist line might not.

Quality sub place. Worth it, lots of meats and toppings. Up there with the Tastee, Subworks, and other NJ independent sandwhich specialties.

Ever since moving to central NJ I continue to be amazed by the quality of local sub joints. R&M is solid sub shop. High quality meats, cut thin, loaded with simple toppings. Can’t beat it. It’s not too often I actually have leftovers when I order a hoag.

not sure what happened. I ordered a super italian sub and got a ham only sub. unfortunately, there’s no way to check the order since it’s wrapped up in the butcher paper. also, the resulting ham sub didn’t taste all that great, which suggests to me that the quality of the cold cut wasn’t that good. also, the bread was fairly bland. so, mediocre quality cold cuts and mediocre bread yielded a mediocre sandwich. place needs a refresh — seemed a little dingy. probably not worth trying again, for me.

Thirty five years ago they were simply the best around — but today is another story. The place looks like it has not been cleaned let alone spruced up in years. My bad for ordering a sub and getting a dose of the Hershey squirts and hour later. I just should have walked out when I saw the condition of this place. Never again…

Horrid. After being taken over by other owners they’re pretty bad…

By far the best for quality and value in the central NJ area. Ver ver small counter with no seating so you have to know what you want and move out quickly. Be very careful parking — best to park at liquor store across the street

Hands down a hole in the wall with a fabulous sandwich menu. I like the #19 belly buster with the works. Don’t get a whole unless u plan on sharing or saving it for later. One of the biggest halves of a sandwich I have ever seen. A very well put together, extremely tasty sandwich.

Italian hot dog? CHECK Chicken Salad Sub? CHECK Italian Sub? Check Super speedy service, CHEAP, AMAZING and I hate to say it… but after years of going to both here and Tastee, they take the #1 spot for the best sub spot in central jersey. Ps– They take credit cards now :) and yes, parking is extremely limited.

As far as Sub shops this is the smallest one I have ever seen or been in. This truly is a hole in the wall place. PARKING is limited if that. I had to park I had to park across at the liquor store. But this is my second spot for subs. They are really good. So when they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover well it applies here. This place is easy to miss and be over looked. So come all and try them out.

This is a [English accent] proppa’ [/English accent] sub shop. Just as other reviews mentioned, it’s three people working every day. This shop has been here for ages. One of the best subs I’ve had. They are very generous with their portions and the food is fresh. Definitely, definitely coming back. Just FYI, I know many people(including myself) prefer wheat bread, but this place does not carry it. Your standard, fresh white bread is solely available.

This is a diamond in the rough sub shop. It doesn’t look like much from the road and gets really cramped inside. Parking in the lot is a hassle, especially during lunch hour when all the locals get out. But this is the place to go if you LOVE subs! I have gotten both the hot and cold subs. And I have trouble deciding which is better. This shop totally beats out your typical chain Subway shop. The cold cuts and breads are top notch. They serve a mighty potato salad. And they don’t rip you off on the serving size. This is probably THEBEST sub shop in the area. Highly recommended.

This place is small and easy to miss on the outside, but the magic that happens inside makes it someplace you can’t pass up. So far, these are the best sandwiches I’ve found in NJ. Lots of meat, incredible bread, and generous size. The staff is extremely attentive and very, very friendly. And for the amount of food you get in one sandwich, very good price. My only real complaint is it tends to get cramped inside during busy hours, but I can guarantee it’s worth the wait.
