Really pleasant afternoon on a great boat with good friends. The boat was really remarkable and the various islands and birds we encountered were beautiful. Would go again in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our two hour cruise with Captain Jim and several of our friends. The total party included seven adults and one baby, and the beautiful wood boat could comfortably hold more. The very personable Captain Jim is extremely knowledgeable about Casco Bay, including the islands and marine life, providing an entertaining and interesting dialogue on our cruise. We also met Captain Adam, and although he did not join us on our trip, he seemed equally pleasant and knowledgeable.
It was very foggy and misty, which made for poor visibility at times, but also made the trip seem magical, as we often couldn’t see anyone else on the water. However, the weather provided a lesson: conditions can change quickly at sea, everyone should bring layers and rain gear for an optimal experience (although there is shelter on the boat).
We would recommend this charter company to our friends, and would use them again in the future.
