Taco Bell

Let’s start with putting my bias out there — the best Taco Bell gets four stars, almost all Taco Bells start with three stars. This Taco Bell is less than average so I am giving it two stars.
This location is near my college campus– which makes it a place I frequent a few times a month. About a quarter of the time do I come away happy. Taco Bell is junk food– It is my understanding that the original concept was opening a restaurant without any ovens or friers– just a microwave. It has moved past that concept– but not entirely– and also added in more junk– fully incorporating Doritos and Fritos into food. But, it is cheap, easy, fast.
I like the breakfast sliders– I didn’t think that Taco Bell would be one of the better breakfast options in the world of Fast Food– but they are. If you get the chance give them a try– you will probably be surprised by how good your breakfast is compared to the likes of Burger King or Wendys. (McDonalds, Hardee’s, and What-​A-​Burger still win this contest– but I am surprised that Taco Bell has placed so well considering it is still new to the contest).
This is a new location– so things still have a little shine on them. It is landscaped well, the insides are clean and modern.
The food is okay. My order has been messed up a couple times. It often is cold. It is generally inconsistent.
I am giving it two stars– because it is Taco Bell. It less than average, but still adequate. No one goes to Taco Bell looking for the best meal of their life. It will do in a pinch– but if you have the time –try the Publix deli next door.

Come on Taco Bell. No excuses ! Ordered and waited and waited and waited. Nobody else was in front of me. Went to use the restroom and guess what? No towels to dry my hands. Grabbed a wad of napkins to get the job done. Since I was a teen, I’ve always put mild sauce on my tacos. You know where this is going: No mild sauce. So when my food finally came, I asked for mild sauce. «We don’t got any» was the response. This place looks brand new, with all new signs and a clean décor. But that is only skin deep. The place is run terribly. I will avoid this Taco Bell next time I am in South Pasadena.

I guess I can’t really judge since I’ve never had the pleasure of eating at this fine establishment. We pulled up to the drive through 25 min before close, took about 8 min till someone came on the intercom and magically their «computer froze and probably wouldn’t be up before close.» And fast food workers think they should be making a min wage of $ 15/​hr?

Closed at 1am not the best and very new, i hope as they get older they will get better. For where they are it is as good as its going to get for late night drunk food.

I understand that fast food is below par so I usually look over most things, but the building is nice and I was excited to have a new/​nice taco bell near me, I was served stale old potato tacos that almost chipped my tooth from being so hard, and when the guy in the drive through handed me my change and food his hands were covered in yellow cheese (younger black guy I didn’t catch his name), I kid you not I had to throw away the change and cheese was all over the outside of the bag and my car, it was so gross.
