KC & C Concrete Pumping

Amazing work and fair price! I’m really happy with the job they did. I had an area of concrete replaced in my backyard along with a few other patches. They were really easy to work with and did the job in half the time they said it would take. It turned out great, and they were very personable. After tons of estimates for the concrete job, I am so happy I went with them and so is my bank account.

They eventually did come and give me a quote. I didn’t end up using they’re services but the person was very nice and courteous.

let me start by saying that I’ve known the Clingerman family for at least 30 years. Their concrete legacy started with Ken Clingerman Sr. «pre 1980» and still continues today.
My family owns several properties around the Highland Park /​South Pasadena area and we have contracted KC&C Concrete Pumping on several jobs.
Any size job we contracted them to do was done in a professional manner that was reasonably priced with unmatched quality. As far as i’m concerned they are the go to guys in the area.

I spoke with Ruben on a lark about concrete pumping and he was super helpful (on numerous occasions when I called asking probably not the smartest questions) and recommended Kenny and his crew to pour the concrete for my garage and addition. Kenny and his men were on time, professional, courteous and their work was beautiful. We are very new at all of these renovations so every time we have something done it’s a risk and we were so pleased and happy with our interactions with this company and their work. Additionally, they were very reasonably priced. Even our general contractor (who is the best but who doesn’t like anyone he hasn’t worked with for years), was thrilled will the work KC&C did on the back units and plans to use KC&C for his future jobs. We will have additional concrete work to be done when our house is closer to finished and we will only consider using Kenny and his crew.

They are amazing… I wanted to redo my backyard, by removing all of the grass and trees, and pour concrete instead. After much research and quotes, I decided to go with KC&C and so happy I did.
First, let me say that I am very much of a white collar/​business type that works in an office, and I don’t know much about construction, parts, how to do things in general, unless I have an instruction guide. So I was a little apprehensive to take on this project of redoing my backyard, as I have had bad experiences in the past with contractors that would not be nice, difficult to work with, always chasing after them, and trying to rip me off since I did not know much (as I would found out later). So this was definitely in the back of my mind, as I did not trust anyone right off the bat.
But Ruben, the main contact I had, was nothing like that. He was always very responsive to my calls and inquiries. I had so many questions, calling him almost every day with a new question, and even sometimes feeling bad calling him so often with new questions, but he always answered nicely, was never annoyed by my calls and questions, and helpful answering them. Also Ken, the main guy who worked on my backyard, was also great, also very helpful, and did not hesitate to help with anything I needed or asked (for example cutting trees that we had not discussed). If he would see me work on something by myself in my backyard, he would even offer to help me. So overall, that was refreshing to see, and put my mind at ease and giving me confidence that I was working with the right people that cared about what they did, and cared about their customer.
My backyard is about 800 sf, so not that big compared to other jobs. It was basic colored concrete, to which I added stamping and a toner and it came out really nice, better than I expected. I also did the side of my house, with a different color and stamp (I will attach pictures to Unilocal). I thought I would like one better than the other, but after seeing the final products, I can’t decide, I just really like both jobs. When the jobs were done, they even also helped me find the right type of rock I wanted to put all around.
Everyone that has seen my backyard has loved it and have been asking who did the concrete, even my electrician (who installed electrical outlets before the concrete was poured) came back for a service after the concrete was poured, wanted to have my contact, to do his own backyard when he saw mine.
I definitely recommend them.

This place was awesome! I called up and told them I needed 2.5 cubic yard of 3000psi concrete on Saturday and boom, it happened. No BS and the price was AMAZING. Ruben coordinated the concrete (these guys are just pumpers but they have concrete connections) over the phone and Alberto came on time to do the pumping. I would DEFINITELY hire these guys again!

This company is the best. They were fast, efficient, clean, and professional. We contacted them to pour a foundation for a garage. They assisted by providing a very inexpensive concrete company, and did the pumping and finishing work. We were very impressed. Called several companies, but these guys were the cheapest by far. They provide service for all types of concrete work. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Amazing prices!!! Very friendly.

These guys are tops. Ops Man Ken wants to do a good job, so quality is what I’ve gotten. I’ve used them twice, once to pour a foundation footing for a room addition and recently for a garage floor and sump pump installation to cure a drainage problem. This is a family owned and run operation. If you need just a pumper, then give them a call, if you want them to do the finish work, you can’t go wrong.
