Elegant Nails & Hair

My daughter took me for mother’s day to get a mani/​pedi. I use to go many years ago and thought they were good. They are nice but it was the worse mani/​pedi I’ve got in a very long time and expensive to boot. I will not be going back there.

Excellent service, good atmosphere and very professional technicians. Few from Vietnam, Hong Kong and local Chinese.

Diane is the best. Even 20 minutes before closing the took me in… always greet me by name when I walk in.

I have been going to Elegant for years. Most of the techs are great when it comes to mani/pedi’s. My fave, however is Mary Hinkle. She does it ALL — hair, color, waxing (U/​L, Brows, Bikini) Threading, eyelash extension, ear coning, & Facials. I get lots of compliments on my hair and as we all know, when you find a good Stylist, you follow ‘em wherever they go. She is honest, sweet, hard working & now does my husband and sons hair too. I highly recommend Mary for, if not all, most of your beauty needs.

I didn’t think I would have to write this review considering that I have a very busy schedule. So my first time here, I wanted a silver hair color. I completely understand that my hair would have to be bleached to get it to silver. First try, my hair was green. Yeah and I pretty much had to keep it like that until the second appointment for them to fix it.
The second appointment, Sonia managed to get it to a silver. I basically brushed off the first incident. Now keep in mind that it’s the same exact hair stylist who worked with my hair and studied it. When I came back to get my roots touched up, my silver completely faded and I was blonde. During the time she was bleaching my roots, a walk in customer came in for a blowout so she left me there with the chemicals in my head for 15 – 20 minutes after the timer went off so that she can finish that customer. My roots were orange so she went ahead and bleached it again. By the time it was done, I stayed there for HALF the day when my appointment was only supposed to be 2 hours long. It didn’t even match the bottom off my head and there was a white line that went around my head. She was combing my wet hair and ripped off a chunk near my bangs so it looks like someone took a giant pair of scissors and chopped it off there. I’m not going to give a fourth shot here considering I already spent 400 $ after my third appointment. I appreciate the lowered cost of messing up my hair, but, if you’re not sure what you’re doing with your client’s hair, why take the risk?
I have three colors in my hair, light blonde, very dark golden blonde, and a white line around my scalp. Not to mention that weird chop on the side of my head. When I told her about the white line, she literally asked me «what do you want me to do?»

Nina is accommodating with last minute requests! Christina is a must for eyebrow threading.

All the ladies are very nice. They are particularly kind to my elderly father who gets his nail and hair done here (thx Mary!). My husband loves getting the extra massage. My gel manicures last. But the very best thing about this place is the ladies. Nice people.

I went home with the thickest nail polish that I have ever seen. I thought I would give it some time. Layers of thick polish, I guess there’s no way It was ever going to dry. I had to take it off only a few hours later at home.
Disappointing! I really wanted to like this place, everyone was friendly and its very close to my house. Such a shame.

The staff was very nice. The location is great. However the work was not so great. There was not much of a selection of colors to choose from. Unfortunately the paint job was very streaky. Will not be coming back.

Nice place. Christina is amazing when it comes to my eyebrows. She listens and is great with waxing or threading!
The owner is always very sweet too. I’ve gone a handful of times to get pedicures by anyone who is available with no appointment with no wait time and have always left satisfied.
They are clean here as well which is a big deal to me, I’ve never left with an irritation or fungus from here. Very nice and professional ladies!

No bueno in the manicure department. Any time I have to go home to fix my nails after i pay for a manicure — there is a problem. I would have given them 1 star but the gal that did my nails was very nice. I didn’t have the heart to complain. I did ask her to even out a few nails that were crooked and clean up the polish, but I still had to go home and clean polish a little more because it looked bad, and I filed a few nails that felt sharp at the edges and were uneven. I won’t go back.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 yrs and I love it. Sonia is awesome. She always does my hair exactly how I want it. Everyone is super loving with excellent customer service and friendly attitude.

I came here on a recommendation from a friend, and she told me to ask for Sonia. I’ve been needing to fix my brows for quite some time now and I have been growing them out due to the fact that everywhere I go they always mess up my brows. So I came here and thought «what’s worse than what I have now» and to my surprise Sonia did a great job in fixing my eyebrows! I love the shape and how she took her time to tweeze them and fix them! Sonia was great, I’ll be coming back for her to do my brows, and maybe I’ll come back to do my hair! And when I do, I’ll be sure to write a review on hair and nails :3 ! So far, so good!

I just got my hair done by Sonia and I loved how my hair turned out. My hair was light golden brown and it was so light on my roots than my ends. She corrected my hair color then did some lowlight and highlights. I was skeptical at first but I ended up liking the way it turned out, with all the color combos together. It took about almost 4 hours to do my hair and it was worth it :) I would come back to do hair again!

when i first walked in, i was greeted by Nina who was the manager there and i felt really welcomed. i came to get nails done and Jenny did an excellent job! She does the most amazing job on character nails, you can request pretty much anything and she would be glad to do it. I also got my hair done by Sonia and colored by Mary and i really loved the way my hair turned out. i usually dont like my haircuts just because most haircut places cut off too much and dont really do a good job so when Sonia cut my hair, i was surprised that it turned out really well. Mary does great coloring! Really loved the color violet red! :] would definitely be coming back!

This was the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. My manicurist skipped a whole step during the manicure– not cutting my cuticles after pushing them back. Also the massage was barely 10 seconds. I also got gel and it’s so sloppy, half my nails aren’t even smooth. It was over priced as well at $ 30 when everyone in the area charges $ 22 – 25 for gel. I will not be going back.

Great service and location is perfect. The two gals that worked on me were fantastic.

Still loving my little nail salon. I’ve been to a couple places recently, strayed so to speak. Bad idea, Mo. I will stray no more. The reason? Elegant Nail is the most spacious place to get your nails done. No one right next to you, overhearing your conversations.
In fact, yesterday, two of the nail ladies asked about my kids, commenting on how big they are getting. Now THAT is personalized service my friends. It’s hard to find these days and I cherish it!
