Incredible service. More than I’d ever expected from a local pizza shop. It was like coming home and having real home cooking

If you’re going to order the pizza it’s good. We had a whole cheese pizza and it was really delicious. I had decided to order eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti as well. The eggplant just didn’t taste well seasoned and the texture was a little weird. The spaghetti was too cheesy for my taste and I ended up not enjoying it as much. The garlic knots were hot and fresh yummy though. I might try something else from here but the cheese pizza is definitely delicious.

Always order here. Always good. My go-to is the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli. & also the garlic knots.

This place have amazing food and amazing service. But the delivery wait time is always well over an hour. It’s worth the wait. Sometimes. Not when your hungry

Absolutely sick of this place, always screw your order up even tho its written down clearly, who is making food their? A bunch of morons who can not read thats who. This is the second time they messed up my same order. I posted the same complaint over 2 years ago. I wanted a philly steak and is clearly said on the phone mozzarella cheese instead of American with mushrooms no onions. Receipt says philly hero add mush + mozz. Guess you guys need to be more specific for the idiots making the food.

This is my go to spot in the neighborhood for a quick bite to eat. Their Penne a la vodka is amazing! The homemade sauce is out of this world. The Caesar salad dressing is made from scratch and the chicken is very tasty! I recommend this location for anyone in or around the Ozone Park area looking for a great, inexpensive hearty Italian meal!

How have I not reviewed my fave pizza spot ever??? Everything here is good, and I mean EVERYTHING!!! They have some unique specialty pizzas — penne on pizza anyone? Their penne ala vodka is amazing. The guys behind the counter are nice, you can tell they just want to feed you(I don’t know how else to express it). I recently did a catering order with them and everything arrived earlier than expected, nicely packaged, and with all the extras included(serving and eating utensils, plates, etc.) Delivery guy was also very nice.

Sophia’s is my neighborhood gem. The food is great and priced reasonably. Delivery is fast and they’ve always been super reliable when I needed them for catering. Try the buffalo wings and the chicken parmesan. Thank me later :).

When your work puts you up at a hotel you can’t afford to eat at, this is the best choice! The food was delivered quickly and was still warm. I had the sausage and peppers sandwich which was okay but I would probably try something again next time. My friend had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza that was tasty. I would definitely order from here again.

A small pizza is huge! And delicious! We got Sofia’s Pizza delivered to our hotel. It took a little while(at 10 at night) but it was worth it. Great thin crust and very flavorful sauce. Perfect amount of cheese. Definitely would recommend and would order again.

I’ve been ordering from Sofia’s since I worked at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott(4 years ago) and I’ve been hooked since then. The delivery guys are super sweet, as is the staff in the actual restaurant. The restaurant itself is so clean! The food is DELICIOUS! Seriously this is the greatest Penne Ala Vodka I’ve ever tasted. Def a go to spot in Queens.

*This is strictly about my delivery order experience.* Ordering experience: Normal. Ordered online, my preferred way and it was painless. Delivery Man: Normal. No issues with him and he was very polite and professional. Food: Pepperoni bites were honestly the best part of the experience. The shrimp parmigiana hero I ordered was horrible. I have eaten many shrimp parmigiana hero sandwiches and this location’s version was just not cutting it. Regarding the shrimp: the texture, the taste, the color and appearance — all just terrible. I don’t know if this is to their usual standard or if it was an off night but I ended up having to discard most of the sandwich and just eat the pepperoni bites. I have not tried the pizza or dine in service, but based on my experience ordering one of my favorite sandwiches that most pizza places can make with no problem, I probably won’t be ordering again. Two stars because of the experience with ordering and with delivery and because of the saving grace of the pepperoni bites.

Ordered a half buffalo chicken and half chicken pesto. Was not what I expected. Pizza came warm not hot when delivered. And pesto was so heavy loaded with chicken it was overwhelming. Buffalo was ok. Definitely a no for next time. Cheese and pepperoni would have been a safer bet. But worst part is having spent $ 27 and throwing away most the pizza.

We were at the airport dropping off my son and due to traffic we went through local streets and saw this place and it looked nice from the outside. I am impressed the pasta is sooo good, wished we lived closer, would definitely be our local spot. Penne pasta with vodka sauce, is delicious.

New York is famous for their pizza, and Sofia’s does not disappoint. Located in Queens across from Home Depot, Sofia’s is a cute little restaurant with a very large selection of pizza. I’m talking about broccoli on pizza! If you are like me and are not a fan of cheese, no worries. There are options for you as well. The pasta selection is huge with all type so of pasta. They also have veil meatballs! Who doesn’t love politically incorret meat? So yummy.

In most cities, this would be 5 star pizza. In Jersey, this would be 4 star pizza. But this is the City. This is the home of pizza. The pros: Great taste. I had a special with fresh mozz and pesto, and I could tell there were great ingredients on top. The mehs: Crust was so-so. Too thick and chewy for NY-style, though not bad, and I actually like a bit more heft to my crust. It would be a personal pro, but objectively, it’s not what people think of as NY-style. The cons: Price, mainly. $ 22.50 for an eggplant grandma pie that weighed half as much as a regular pie. Thin as all heck, no visible basil, old dried splotches of tomato sauce on hefty circles of eggplant. $ 3.50 a slice for special. They quoted $ 15.95 for a plain pie but the menu said $ 13.95. If I was at all ambivalent about the prices being unfair, that sealed the deal. The main thing Sofia’s has going is that it’s probably the best pizza within arm’s reach of JFK. Not in a great neighborhood, so for residents there with limited options, it’s the best pizza they can walk to, but on the other hand, probably priced out of their reach. I have better pizza within walking distance 30 miles out from Manhattan, so there has to be better in Queens.
