Hall of Lights

Rented the hall and had a horrible experience. The owner, who also happens to own the real estate office on the corner of 117^th Street, was condescending to me and the my people setting up. I actually had to yell at him after he made some off the wall comments. He had the audacity to scream at me that I was begging him to use a table, and that beggers should not be choosers. Are you kidding me??? Who talks to someone like that, especially if we are renting a place from you. He doesn’t know how to talk to people. We couldn’t hang anything on the walls. Upon setup, he asked me to hire him as a bar tender, to which I said no… then he told me that he had to stay and bar tend because the license was under his name. He still stayed for the entire event, but didn’t pour a single drink for anyone… imagine that… a total stranger just hanging around my guests. Anyone needed a drink, he told them to pour it themselves. Horrible experience, I would never rent anything from them ever again.
